Feds Expand War On Terror, Raid Communist Antiwar Activists

Following the absurd hyperbole of senior Obama administration officials earlier this week warning that the CIA’s Night of the Walking Dead cave dwellers will attempt small scale attacks against the United States, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force dispatched SWAT teams to the homes of antiwar activists in Minneapolis and Chicago in order to keep alive and expand the terrorism mantra.

FBI spokesman Steve Warfield told the Associated Press that six warrants in Minneapolis and two in Chicago were served about 7 a.m. Friday. Warfield said the FBI is seeking “evidence relating to activities concerning the material support of terrorism.”

“The search warrant for 1823 Riverside, the residence of activist Mick Kelly, sought information ‘regarding ability to pay for his own travel’ to Palestine and Columbia from 2000 to today. The warrant hyped potential documents indicating any contacts/facilitation with FARC, PFLP, and Hezbollah — what it called ‘FTOs’ or ‘foreign terrorist organizations’. It mentioned seeking information on the alleged ‘facilitation of other individuals in the US to travel to Colombia, Palestine and any other foreign location ins support of foreign terrorist organizations including but not limited to FARC, PFLP and Hezbollah,” reports IndyMedia in the Twin Cities.

Individuals targeted by the FBI appear to be members of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization, a Marxist-Leninist group that continues to uphold Joseph Stalin as one of the “principal theorists” of Marxism-Leninism, along with Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Lenin, and Mao Zedong. Stalin liquidated around 50 million people while Mao killed off more than 70 million.

The Freedom Road Socialist Organization was formed in 1985. It consolidated the remnants of the New Communist Movement of the 1970s. The New Communist Movement was part of the “New Left” that emerged from the Students for a Democratic Society in the 1960s. SDS was not only infiltrated and taken over by Marxist-Leninist groups, but also the FBI (see Max Elbaum, Roxanne Dunbar Ortiz, & Elizabeth Martinez, Rebels with a Cause).

The late Antony Sutton documented how the Bolshevik Revolution was created and nurtured by Wall Street (see Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution).

“In the Bolshevik Revolution we have some of the world’s richest and most powerful men financing a movement which claims its very existence is based on the concept of stripping of their wealth men like the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Schiffs, Warburgs, Morgans, Harrimans, and Milners. But obviously these men have no fear of international Communism. It is only logical to assume that if they financed it and do not fear it, it must be because they control it,” Gary Allen wrote. “In the Bolshevik Revolution we see many of the same old faces that were responsible for: creating the Federal Reserve System, initiating the graduated income tax, setting up the tax-free foundations and pushing us into WWI.”

Charles Merlin Umpenhour, in his book In Freedom, A Fading Illusion (p. 126), documents how Lenin, under the influence of Wall Street and Occidental Petroleum’s Armand Hammer, created the American Comintern, or Communist International. In 1984, former KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov told G. Edward Griffin how easy it was for the Soviets to exploit idealistic “useful idiots” in America and elsewhere in order to spread the communist ideology.

Considering the roots of the communist movement in the United States and its infiltration by the FBI, specifically under its illegal COINTELPRO, it is not a stretch to conclude that the raids in Minneapolis and Chicago were arranged by the government to expand and amplify its current homegrown propaganda effort.

The establishment does not consider a CIA contrived Muslim terrorist organization or its supposed affiliates in the United States – who are overwhelmingly patsies, dupes, and mental cases stage managed by the FBI (as the recent Bronx synagogue bomb plot case reveals) – as a serious threat to the national security of the corporate-banker complex. It also does not consider a gaggle of manipulated communist admirers of the mass murderers Stalin and Mao as a legitimate threat.

The real threat, as the Department of Homeland Security’s leaked “right-wing extremism” document revealed last year, emanates from the patriot movement.

SWAT raids on antiwar activists who are associated with a questionable communist organization long ago compromised by the FBI are intended to expand the manufactured threat of domestic terrorism beyond the narrow confines of Islamic terrorism to fringe political organizations in the United States and ultimately to the real threat to the establishment – the growing patriot and Tea Party movement.

The corporate media has engaged in a sustained and vicious campaign to demonize the patriot movement and portray its members as potentially violent terrorists. Earlier this year, the government infiltrated the Hutaree “militia group” in Michigan and attempted to use the trumped-up arrest of its members as an example of the sort of domestic terrorism the patriot movement represents. The government’s case fell apart in short order. On May 3, a federal judge ordered nine jailed members of the group released.

This post could really use a picture of Seattle-based Molly Norris. I just didn’t think it ethical to post one because she is now in hiding on the advice of the FBI due to threats by stupid, misguided fools who want to kill her.

They want her dead for a joke she made at the expense of the Prophet Muhammad––also not pictured… for, um, obvious reasons.

I will however post a picture of this guy: His name is Anwar al-Awlaki, and he’s a Yemeni-American cleric who is alleged to have inspired the Fort Hood shooting, among other attacks. He’s also the one who put Norris on a “hit list.”

He’s a bastard-coated bastard with bastard filling.

Back in April Norris drew a cartoon lampooning the fact that certain (not all; let’s not generalize) Muslims become so angry at depictions of the prophet Muhammad, which Islam kind-of-but-not-really forbids. This was at the time when Comedy Central was punking out because South Park was making jokes about Muhammad depictions. So Norris drew a cartoon declaring May 20th “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day.”

That’s it. That’s what makes someone like Anwar al-Awlaki wish death upon a fellow human being: a cartoon cherry claiming to be Muhammad.

In May Norris told the Seattle PI that she hadn’t meant for, or thought of her cartoon going viral on the net, but it happened that way and Norris went from unknown Seattle illustrator to the focus of religious hate.

And now she’s a ghost. She’s changed her name, left Seattle, and will have a new life somewhere else. She told Seattle Weekly that the threat on her existence is like cancer, “[It] might basically be nothing, it might be urgent and serious, it might go away and never return, or it might pop up again when she least expects it.”

Above I made a point to not generalize about Islam, or Muslims. I don’t want anyone to believe that I think that 99 percent of Muslims are anything like Anwar al-Awlaki. I’m reiterating this because I’m about to say…

Dear Anwar al-Awlaki:

Your religion sucks.

Yes, he sucks as a human being, but his religion sucks just as much if not more. Again, I’m not saying all Muslims or all of Islam sucks––just his version, the one where you get to terrorize a small time cartoonist.

Find me a jerk, and I can persuade him; find me a jerk with religion, and I am defeated. Once someone believes that their actions are chosen and led by God, it’s game over for logic or reason. I’ve been told that the non-religious like myself scare people because what is morality without God?

This: If I commit a violent act, I cannot blame God. It is my act alone because I do not believe in a guiding hand of God (or of the economy, but that’s a separate post), so I avoid causing ill in the world to avoid personal guilt. But people like al-Awlaki revel in that their evil is not evil, it is the righteous will of Gawd(!). They have no need for a conscience.

Therefore, al-Awlaki’s religion sucks, and it is our responsibility to say that. To sit back and say nothing – even here in our little corner of Montana, on a little blog about politics and culture – we do a great injustice to one another. The same injustice best embodied in Pastor Martin Niemöller’s staggeringly brilliant quote about Nazis:

They came first for the Communists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew.

Then they came for me
and by that time no one was left to speak up.

Though Molly Norris lived in Seattle, though most if not all people reading this have never met her (and now never will), we must stand up for her. If we do not, then our First Amendment right to free speech is worthless.

Go post her cartoon on Facebook, and Twitter, and your own blog, and MySpace and your front door. Show it to friends and family. Laugh at it. Make it into a t-shirt you wear proudly. And on May 20th, 2011 scribble as many drawings of Muhammad as you wish (or do it now), because tolerance and respect are different. I tolerate Anwar al-Awlaki’s right to have his misguided, stupid beliefs about moral and spiritual matters, but I do not respect them at all.

The Obama administration urged a federal judge early Saturday to dismiss a lawsuit over its targeting of a U.S. citizen for killing overseas, saying that the case would reveal state secrets.

The U.S.-born citizen, Anwar al-Aulaqi, is a cleric now believed to be in Yemen. Federal authorities allege that he is leading a branch of al-Qaeda there.

Government lawyers called the state-secrets argument a last resort to toss out the case, and it seems likely to revive a debate over the reach of a president’s powers in the global war against al-Qaeda.

Civil liberties groups sued the U.S. government on behalf of Aulaqi’s father, arguing that the CIA and the Joint Special Operations Command’s placement of Aulaqi on a capture-or-kill list of suspected terrorists – outside a war zone and absent an imminent threat – amounted to an extrajudicial execution order against a U.S. citizen. They asked a U.S. district court in Washington to block the targeting.

In response, Justice Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that the groups are asking "a court to take the unprecedented step of intervening in an ongoing military action to direct the President how to manage that action – all on behalf of a leader of a foreign terrorist organization."

Miller added, "If al-Aulaqi wishes to access our legal system, he should surrender to American authorities and return to the United States, where he will be held accountable for his actions."

In a statement, lawyers for Nasser al-Aulaqi condemned the government’s request to dismiss the case without debating its merits, saying that judicial review of the pursuit of targets far from the battlefield of Afghanistan is vital.

"The idea that courts should have no role whatsoever in determining the criteria by which the executive branch can kill its own citizens is unacceptable in a democracy," the American Civil Liberties Union and Center for Constitutional Rights said.

"In matters of life and death, no executive should have a blank check," they said.

The government filed its brief to U.S. District Judge Robert Bates just after a midnight Friday deadline, blaming technical problems, and the late-night maneuvering underscored the political and diplomatic stakes for President Obama. His administration announced last year that it would set a higher bar when hiding details of controversial national security policies.

Justice Department officials said they invoked the controversial legal argument reluctantly, mindful that domestic and international critics attacked former president George W. Bush for waging the fight against terrorism with excessive secrecy and unchecked claims of executive power.

The Obama administration has cited the state-secrets argument in at least three cases since taking office – in defense of Bush-era warrantless wiretapping,surveillance of an Islamic charity, and the torture and rendition of CIA prisoners. It prevailed in the last case last week, on a 6 to 5 vote by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

A senior Justice official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the administration is engaging in "a much narrower use of state secrets" than did its predecessor, which cited the argument dozens of times – often, the official said, to "shut down inquiries into wrongdoing."

In its 60-page filing, the Justice Department cites state secrets as the last of four arguments, objecting first that Aulaqi’s father lacks standing, that courts cannot lawfully bind future presidents’ actions in as-yet undefined conflicts, and that in war the targeting of adversaries is inherently a "political question."

Robert M. Chesney, a national security law specialist at the University of Texas School of Law, said that Obama lawyers would undoubtedly prefer not to stoke the state-secrets debate, or to risk judicial review of its claim to a borderless battlefield.

"The real big issue here is . . . are we only at war in Afghanistan, or can the U.S. government lawfully use war powers in other cases, at least where the host nation consents or there is no host government?" Chesney said.

"You’re trying to avoid a judicial ruling on the merits of the whole issue," Chesney said, adding, "But at the end of the day, if it’s your best argument in a case you want to win, you’re going to make that argument."

North and South Korea on the brink of war, Russian diplomat warns

North and South Korea are on the brink of war, a top Russian diplomat has warned, calling for both countries to exercise restraint and sit down for talks.

In Moscow’s bleakest assessment of the situation on the Korean peninsula yet, Russian deputy foreign minister Alexei Borodavkin said tensions between the two countries were running at their highest and most dangerous level in a decade.

"Tensions on the Korean Peninsula could not be any higher. The only next step is a conflict," he told foreign policy experts at a round table on the subject in Moscow.

His prediction came two months after North Koreavowed to wage "a sacred war" against South Koreaand its biggest backer, the United States.

Tensions bubbled over in March after Washington and Seoul concluded that a North Korean submarine had sunk a South Korean naval vessel in the Yellow Sea. Mr Borodavkin called for the investigation into exactly who was responsible for the sinking of the vessel, the Cheonan, to be urgently closed in order to remove an obvious source of tension.

Describing the standoff between the two Koreas as a "hangover from the Cold War," Mr Borodavkin said Russia, which is one of the six countries involved in talks with North Korea over its nuclear programme, was doing all it could to try to prevent an outbreak of hostilities.

But he said responsibility for keeping peace in the volatile region was shared equally between North and South Korea. He condemned North Korea’s nuclear testing programme but also criticised the way the United States and South Korea had increased their military manoeuvres in the wake of the sinking of the Cheonan.

Now that at least one member of the Hockey team has acknowledged that the cooling in the 1970s was both real and natural, we can analyze older data which was not perturbed by people with an agenda to prove global warming. The graph below compares NCAR’s 1970s temperatures vs. atmospheric CO2.

As you can see, there isn’t much of a correlation – the graph is almost flat.

Since then, the official temperature data has been massaged many times to make the past colder and the present warmer.  So it is useful to do a correlation using data from the pre-agenda climate era.

Climatologists are pessimistic that political leaders will take any positive action to compensate for the climatic change, or even to allay its effects. They concede that some of the more spectacular solutions proposed, such as melting the Arctic ice cap by covering it with black soot or diverting arctic rivers, might create problems far greater than those they solve. But the scientists see few signs that government leaders anywhere are even prepared to take the simple measures of stockpiling food or of introducing the variables of climatic uncertainty into economic projections of future food supplies. The longer the planners delay, the more difficult will they find it to cope with climatic change once the results become grim reality.

Record Fast Arctic Freeze?

In mid-August, the winds kicked up in the Arctic and pushed the ice edge to the north – causing great joy amongst people wanting to claim Arctic Armageddon.

The joy was so great that someone at NOAA rushed to press the incorrect claim that ice was second lowest on record, along with a bogus map. (The map has since been corrected.)

What they apparently didn’t realize is the the late movement of the ice edge left a lot of cold water where the edge had been in mid-August. Thus it didn’t take much for the water in that region to freeze once the wind stopped. Now we are seeing a very rapid increase back towards 2005 levels. Ice extent has grown 30% since this date in 2007.

The bad news is that the PR damage has been done. The press is full of stories again that the Arctic has nearly all melted at -15C. Yet another example of CO2 changing the fundamental properties of water.

More NOAA Problems

Anthony noted an error on the NOAA web site, where they claimed that Arctic ice extent was second lowest on record.

On further examination, I noticed another serious problem.

The text says “22% below normal,” but the map looks like almost 50% below the red normal line. So I did some pixel counting.

The map shows that the ice is 46% below normal, not 22%. The projection is not perfect, so the measurement is not precise – but the discrepancy between 22% and 46% is much too large to be accounted for by distortion.

The NSIDC equivalent map below shows more reasonable numbers, at 29% below normal.

The blink comparator below shows the differences between the NSIDC map and the NOAA map.

As you can see, the NOAA map makes the condition of the ice look worse than it is. They show large non-existent areas of missing ice near the pole. Below is a satellite image showing what the ice really looked like around the pole yesterday.

Looks to me like NOAA has some problems.

Rothschild and CIA Publications Attack “Constitution-worshipers”

The editors of the Economist have declared constitutionalists mentally ill. “Indeed, there is something infantile in the belief of the constitution-worshipers that the complex political arguments of today can be settled by simple fidelity to a document written in the 18th century,” the editors wrote on September 23. “When history is turned into scripture and men into deities, truth is the victim.”

Following the Constitution is infantile behavior, according to two publications produced by the Rothschilds, the CFR, and the CIA.

The Economist is owned by members of the Rothschild banking family of England. It is run by the Economist Group, a known CIA front.

According to the Economist, the framers were aristocrats who “did not believe that poor men, or any women, let alone slaves, should have the vote.” The Constitution does not address the “hard questions thrown up by modern politics,” namely should gays be allowed to marry?

The Economist argument against the Constitution is the same one used by liberal academics. The document is antiquated, the product of a bygone era. The founders were afraid of “democracy taking hold,” so they crafted a document designed to exclude the common people and preserve their aristocratic position.

Globalists love democracy. It is an easy enough task to fool the people, especially these days with 24-7 media and satellite television. It is a relatively simple matter to have the benighted masses vote away their natural rights under some cooked up false pretense. “Democracy is not freedom. Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for lunch. Freedom comes from the recognition of certain rights which may not be taken, not even by a 99% vote,” wrote Marvin Simkin. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.

Soon after the Economist article appeared, the establishment publication Foreign Policy posted an article slamming the idea that we should follow the Constitution. Joshua Keating writes that he suspects “most Americans don’t realize quite how old the Constitution is by world standards,” that is to say globalist standards. In order to make his point, Keating cites an article published in the Onion, a popular satire publication.

Foreign Policy was established by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a think tank created by the “internationalist” Andrew Carnegie, who took his advice from Elihu Root, who worked to make the Council On Foreign Relations possible.

As Carroll Quigley noted in Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in Our Time, the CFR, modeled on the British Round Table Group, “penetrated deeply into university life, the press, and… foreign policy,” and peddled its globalist influence through five American newspapers, including the Washington Post and the New York Times. “The CFR is the American Branch of a society which originated in England, and which believes that national boundaries should be obliterated, and a one-world rule established,” Quigley explains.

In 2008, Foreign Policy was bought by the Washington Post Company. The Washington Post is the crown jewel of the CIA’s Operation Mockingbird. Wall Street lawyer Frank Wisner, who ran the Office of Special Projects — later to become part of the CIA — recruited Philip Graham, the publisher of the Washington Post, to run Operation Mockingbird and subvert the free press in the United States.

The CFR wants “to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty of the national independence of the United States,” Admiral Chester Ward, a former member of the CFR, warned. In order to realize their one-world government scheme, the CFR and the ruling elite must undermine the sovereignty of the United States.

It must also undermine and subvert the Tea Party movement and the popular move to restore the constitutional foundation of the country.

The twin articles appearing in the Economist — at the behest of Rothschild and the City of London banking elite — and Foreign Policy — controlled by the Council On Foreign Relations — are designed to make constitutionalists appear to be not only infantile idealists who idolize an archaic document that the globalists argue has no relevance in our modern era of gay marriage, but also as dangerous people who suffer from mental illness.

SATANISM
Satanism is devil worship, the deification of Lucifer, the fallen angel. Lucifer was God’s most beautiful angel. He was an angel of light and music. Such was his beauty and talent, he grew proud and jealous of God. Thus, he revolted against the Almighty. But God squashed this revolution and Lucifer fell to earth in a bolt of lightning, together with a third of heaven’s angels who took his side. They were cast into the pit of despair – Hell. Lucifer is Satan – the Devil, and the angels who had fallen with him became his demons. Together, they fight a never-ending battle against God. They seek to hurt God through His creation – humanity (that’s us!). Satanism has its roots in Christianity. The Satanists awaits the coming of the anti-Christ, as predicted in the Bible. Thus we see that in order to worship the Devil, you have to first believe in God. To be a Satanist, you have to recognise Christianity as the one true religion in order to oppose it.
As a philosophy, the tenets of Satanism promise a very good time for one and all. In Aleister Crowley’s Book Of Magic, he wrote: "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole Law." He was a renowned English Satanist of Edwardian times. From this we see that Satanism is about gratification od the senses. Without shame or guilt. Without a thought about sin. With an inordinate love of evil. A true Satanist will always choose evil over good. He will have no qualms about killing, torture, having sex with his parents, siblings, animals… etc. In fact, the more perverse and despicable the act, the more pleasing it is to Lucifer. Satanic rites normally revolve around sex, drugs and live sacrifices. The ceremonial slaying of innocent virgins, babies, pregnant women…; these are the most pleasing sacrifices to Satan. Satan is the enemy of God and all that is good. To please him, one has to be as bad as one can be. Consider the fun most bad boys and girls have, it is not hard to see the appeal of Satanism.
In the old days, there were people like the Marquis de Sade, a French nobleman in the reign of King Louie XIV. He reviled the teachings of Christ and the Church and preached the philosophy of Satan. He’d advise people to torture, mutilate and kill. To rob, cheat and steal. To commit incest, adultery, bestiality, necrophilia. In short, he encourgaed people to do whatever they felt like doing without conscience or guilt. Such hedonistic nihilism is an important aspect of Satanism. For where God has rules and regulations, Satan’s promise is pleasure and freedom with no bounds at all. Throughout the ages, many have followed this same path of soul destruction only to find that it has led to despair. For Satan’s promise of power and success are granted but only to a chosen few. They are granted this so as to serve as role models for others to follow. They are glamorous high priests and priestesses of Devil worship. They often are in the forms of successful tycoons, movie stars, pop stars and models.
Satanism is alive and very powerful in the world today. Many people worship the Devil and they do not even know it. All gratification of selfishness, greed, lust, vanity and power is an offering on the altar of the Devil. The Devil has his agents in many fields of operation in the modern world. With the rise of materialism and the decline of spirituality, we see we are entering a golden age for Satan. Never has his power been so strong in the world as today. Children grow up worshipping success, not God. They fear failure more than damnation. And throughout their lives, they will nurse this dark seed of Satan in their hearts which can explode anytime into the flkowers of violence, murder and other atrocities. This dark seed is planted by various media sources such as music, movies and television. And especially in advertisements, where happiness and satisfaction is promised by the purchase of a product. In fact, Satan’s influence is everywhere. Listen carefully to what people tell you. Judge for yourself if what they say is right or wrong. Chances are, they are hollow shells acting as a poisonous nest for a host of demonic agents from Hell!
So gentle reader, do not misunderstand. Satanism is not limited to a bunch of loonies having orgies and sacrificing a few helpless animals. It is insidious and everywhere. It is all powerful. If you believe in God, you have to believe in the Devil as well. If you don’t believe in God, then you MUST believe in the Devil for that is exactly what Satan wants. He wants your apathy, your cruelty, your greed, your selfishness, your lust. Satan wants your worship. But beware, the Devil is the father of all lies. And the path of endless earthly pleasures he points out to one and all often turns out to be the road to ruin, the path of destruction. The highway to Hell… and one promise you can be assured the Devil will keep, is that you will join him in Hell if you do his bidding on Earth.
However, if the topic of Satanism still interests you, you must check out the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead – the Necronomicon by the Mad Arab Abdul Azared. It is the official book of demonology and many Satanists subscribe to it as it helps them break further away from Christianity. Also, there is the Satanic Bible by Anton La Vey, but this is more for beginners. The works of Crowley, de Sade and the diaries of Giles de Retz explore the many interesting possiilities of Satanism. Ch. VIII: DEMONOLOGY OF THE PHARISEES

So-called “Judaism” is nothing but Babylonian Talmudic Pharisaism, which at base is crass paganism concocted through the centuries. Descriptions concocted for this very old satanism, such as “immanence” (Spinoza) “emanation” (Talmudic Cabala), “dialectical materialism” (Marx) merely dress up old pagan concepts….

All forms of demonology were adopted by the Pharisees and incorporated into so-called Judaism. Demons of the privy, of the night, of every phase of nature, were and are catered to by the tenets and customs of this sect. The Talmud book of Yadayim (hands) is, for example, on ritual hand-washing in connection with Pharisee demonology. The Talmud is larded with occult works and practices.

Jewish Demonism ~ Between the world of the flesh and the world of the spirit, Jewish superstition imagines a middle ground inhabited by angels and demons. During the thirteenth century Jewish demonology swelled its ranks with Latin, French, and German intruders who ended up becoming thoroughly integrated with the natives recorded in the Talmud.

The Pharisee custom in Christ’s time of drizzling water alternately on the hands, to carry off demons (who presumably live in water) is still in force. The “Code of Jewish Law” (Schulchan Aruch), which is a digested “Mishna” of the Talmud, holds that an evil spirit takes over a sleeping person:

“When he rises from his sleep the evil spirit departs from his entire body excepting from his fingers. From there the unclean spirit does not depart unless he spills water on them three times alternately. One is not permitted to walk four cubits without having his hands washed.” (Schulchan Aruch, Vol. 1, Chapter II: Hebrew Publishing Co. 77-9 Delancey St., New York, copyright 1927).

Says the Soncino Edition of the Talmud, in the Introduction to Yadayim (handwashing):

“This … rite … formed one of the chief breaches between Jesus and the Pharisees.” (page 545) When the Pharisees came to Christ, baiting Him about His Apostles not doing these handwashing rituals, He came back at them, saying that they were hypocrites, “teaching for doctrines the commandments of men … Full well ye reject the commandment of God that ye may keep your own tradition.” (See Matthew 15)

Other practices are condoned in Judaism.

Despite Moses’ orders (Deuteronomy 18:10-12): “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or daughter to pass through the fire (see Ritual Murder herein) or that useth divination, or an observer of times [astrology] or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a necromancer.

For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of the abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.” (Deuteronomy 18:10-12) Yet all of these are permitted by Judaistic Pharisee scripture. (See, for example, the Jewish Talmud, Sanhedrin 65a-b, Exhibits 70, 71)

Citing this very Scriptural passage, and reversing it, the Talmudic “sages” hold that calling up demons to aid with sorcery is not idolatry since demons are not thereby worshiped!

The ancient practice of spirits speaking from the privates by soothsaying is dwelt upon in Judaism and this practice is loathsomely attributed to Jesus (“He practiced enchantment by means of his membrum” — see the Talmud, Sanhedrin 105 a-b, Exhibit 108).

“Ye shall not use enchantment nor observe times.” (another of Moses’ admonitions in Leviticus 19:26) The “sages” also distort this clear scripture and declare: “This refers to those who practice enchantment by means of weasels, birds, and fish” — thus forbidding what no one cares to do anyway, and so as to open the way for pagan practices elsewhere permitted. (See Exhibit 74)

The Christian need not wallow in darkness. In the 1905 Jewish Encyclopedia it was already clearly written down that the Pharisees took over “Judaism,” removed all “obnoxious verbiage” concerning God, such as attributing to Him Intelligence and control over this world and bestowed all Biblical powers ascribed to Him to lesser spirits, or “angelic powers.”

And, with the angelology and Demonology (of Babylon) and the Ma‘asek Bereshit and Ma‘aseh Merkabah, they nullified the Bible into pantheism. Anthropomorphism, or attributing to God any human quality like Intelligence, Love, or Control, such as God gave man over the animal world, was and is “obnoxious” to the Pharisee. (See, for example, the Jewish Encyclopedia, Exhibit 264, upper left column)

The Ma‘aseh Mercabah and Ma‘aseh Bereshit are called in Judaism, the very basis of this occult gnosticism. Pretending to be based upon Genesis and Ezekiel’s chariot throne of God vision (Ezekiel I), this last “mystery” is called “Merkabah.”

The words “by other means” are the most significant in the definition of the Merkabah in the Jewish Encyclopedia (pages 499-500): “The mysteries rest on the belief in the reality of things seen in an ecstatic state brought about by ablutions, fast, fervent invocations, incantations, and by other means … the Merkabah rider must provide himself with amulets or seals containing mysterious names … The central figure in the theophany, however, is the ‘Prince of the Face,’ Metatron … He is the one who imparted to man all the knowledge of heaven and of the past and the future.”

Even burning children to the demon Molech for black occult power is allowed today by the supreme scriptures of Pharisaic Judaism. (See “Ritual Murder” herein)

Jewish Magic

Rabbi Joshua Trachtenberg, listed in Who’s Who in American Jewry, in his defensive yet illuminating book, Jewish Magic and Superstition (Behrmann’s, N.Y., 1939), writing of the age-long reputation of Jews as practitioners of black magic and all occult demonistic rites, states (Second chapter, entitled “The Truth Behind the Legend”):

“The sources indicate that Jews were at least acquainted with methods of inducing disease and death, of arousing and killing passion, of forcing people to do their bidding, of employing demons for divinatory and other purposes … We find accounts of the magician’s power to project his soul to far-distant places, there to perform an errand, and then return to his comatose body.” (Page 13)

“Jewish magic … functioned within the framework of the Jewish religion.” (Page 15)

Rabbi Trachtenberg also states:

“Knowledge of the names, through which Jewish magic worked, was inaccessible to women, for it required not only a thorough training in Hebrew and Aramaic, which most of them lacked, but also a deep immersion in mystical lore from which they were barred … Early mystical and magical lore was successfully guarded by a limited oral transmission. The secret lore of the Kalonymides [Note: who brought it from Babylonia] … was first written down in the 13th Century … Jewish life had turned more and more inward … and intensive study of the Talmud had become almost its sole intellectual pursuit … But the German Kabbalah never attained the theoretical depth of its Spanish counterpart, nor did it exert so much influence.” (Pages 16-17, same publication)

“So we may say that every Jew whose desire led him thither essayed a little magic in a small way. But it was generally recognized that only a minor portion of the mystical lore had found its way into books; much of it remained private, jealously guarded property.” (page 18)

In the same work, and under the title of “Forbidden and Permitted,” Trachtenberg says: “The Bible had pronounced an unqualified condemnation of sorcery. The Talmud … pursued its customary function of clarifying and classifying Jewish law, and so broke up the all-inclusive category of sorcery into several divisions …” Then are cited various hairsplittings, ending with an admission that the Talmud actually permits the very proscribed or forbidden acts denounced by the Bible.

Trachtenberg sums up: “From a practical standpoint, they succeeded in effectively excluding from the proscribed ‘magic’ all the forms current among Jews.” (Pages 19-20)

The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia cites Rabbi Trachtenberg Jewish Magic and Superstition as a rabbinical authority on these subjects.

Habdalah

Says Rabbi Trachtenberg: “On Saturday evening, during the Habdalah ceremony which marks the beginning of the new week, another libation was offered to the spirits, as part of the ritual. Some of the wine was poured upon the ground ‘as a good omen for the entire week to symbolize good fortune and blessing.’” Rabbi Trachtenberg then proceeds to de-emphasize that this had any religious significance, and states:

“Moses Mat in the 16th Century wrote that this practice is intended to ‘give their portion to the company of Korah,’ namely, to the powers of evil. And that portion was not inconsiderable. As one rabbi in Silesia remarked, ‘If I had the wine that is poured upon the ground in Austria during Habdalah it would suffice to quench my thirst for a whole year!’ ” This custom of pouring out some wine over which a blessing has been recited, which appears again in the wedding ceremony, may have been considered by some people not as an offering to the spirits, but as a means of driving them off.” (page 167, Jewish Magic and Superstition).

Just preceding this, Rabbi Trachtenberg covers various food offerings to demons such as leaving a loaf of bread and cup of wine “left standing overnight,” which, to quote, is categorized: as ‘setting a table for the demons.’ Yet it continued to be done, sometimes with the frank admission that ‘it extends fullness of blessing over the entire week.’ During the Passover Seder a cup of wine is filled expressly for the Prophet Elijah, who is believed to visit every Jewish home on that occasion, and the door is opened for him to enter — this time the offering is to a good spirit, rather than an evil one.

But during the same service, there is a late custom, which arose in German-Jewish circles, to pour out a drop of wine at the mention of each of the ten plagues, possibly to placate the evil spirits, who may be impelled by the reference to so many disasters to visit some of them upon the celebrants.

Israel Isserlein’s biographer wrote of him, ‘He always spilled some of the water from his cup before drinking,’ thus observing a universal Jewish custom going back to Talmudic times. The explanation then given was that the water might have been contaminated by a demon — but obviously merely spilling some of it doesn’t purify it all. The intention was to induce the demon to neutralize the possible ill effect of the water by making him a libation.” (same publication, pages 166-7)

Tashlik and Kapparah

Rabbi Trachtenberg cites the power of the Kapparah rites in Judaism.

In the first editions of the Shulhan Aruch, an accepted code of Judaism compiled by Joseph Caro, his reference to Tashlik being a “silly custom” was deleted, according to Rabbi Trachtenberg, “under the influence of the 16th century Polish annotator, Moses Isserles … The various features of the ceremony accentuate its superstitions and even magical character.”

Tashlik is the current and ancient Pharisee custom of dropping crumbs into a river or body of water at Rosh Hashonah, or flapping the garments at demons, as the Hasidim Jews do, to appease them. Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges in New York, have been much used for this, says the Jewish Encyclopedia of 1905 (under “Tashlik”). Rabbi Trachtenberg also states:

“Fowl are closely associated with the spirits in Jewish and non-Jewish lore, and are the commonest oblation to them … The cock is employed to represent a man, the hen, a woman, in many magic rites. The circles which are described about the head of the individual, and the numbers three and seven, are well-known magical elements. The words which effectuate the substitution have all the earmarks of a typical incantation. In the earlier texts the words ‘this is my atonement’ are not present; they were added so that the initials of the Hebrew terms might form the word hatash, ‘which is the name of the angel appointed over this.’ “

Rabbi reads words of Kapparah as rooster draws evil out of him.

Rabbi Trachtenberg continues:

“The belief that evil spirits roost on roofs occurs often (the Talmud places them under the eaves) … In view of this requirement that the entrails be thrown on a roof acquires special significance. Thus analyzed there can be little doubt of the true meaning of the rite, which is still observed today. It is probably the most blatantly superstitious practice to have entered Jewish religious usage, for where the significance of other such practices has long since been lost sight of, the purpose of this is too apparent to escape the dullest wits.” (same publication, pages 164-5)

“Not unrelated is the rite of Tashlik, observed on the first day of Rosh Hashonah … this ceremony represents merely the latest version of a complex of superstitious practices centering about the belief in the existence of spirits in bodies of Water … in later times Tashlik was postponed if the first day of the New Year fell on a Sabbath on the ground that carrying bread was a violation of the Sabbath rules.”

Various “explanations” customarily used as a “whited sepulchre” coverup for the stark paganism of Pharisaism are here mentioned by Trachtenberg, and then:

“These explanations only too patently evade the main issue, the bread offering to the spirits … Under Kabbalistic influence an attempt was made to limit the rite to shaking one’s clothes at the river-side … ” (page 166)

The entire Jewish Talmud book of Yadayim (“hands”) is based upon the superstition that demons live in water. The Talmudist’s objective here is not cleanliness, but getting the “demons” off into water. Small wonder that Christ would have none of the Pharisee hand-washing voodoo in His life, because of which the Pharisees upbraided Him mercilessly.

Lilith — Favorite Demoness

Of the hordes of demons the Jew who would win out must use and dismiss, none is more prominent than Lilith. Some of the amulets meant to keep her in check, as reproduced from the Jewish Encyclopedia, appear in Exhibits 286 and 287.

Lilith is still quite popular with Satanic sects. Her owls are common symbolism used in black sorcery on the planet today. One such example would be Bohemian Grove.

Lilith is supposedly jealous of lying-in mothers and their new-born babies. Her main job is apparently “spawning demons.”

In his above noted publication, Rabbi Trachtenberg repeats the Talmudic tale that “when Adam was parted from Eve, he had relations with female demons who bore him demonic offspring.” He was at this for 130 years, we are told.

Says Trachtenberg (page 7):

“As a result of the legend of Adam’s relations with Lilit [another spelling] … the Lilits were most frequently singled out as the demons who embrace sleeping men and cause them to have nocturnal emissions which are the seed of a hybrid progeny … . As the demons whose special prey is lying-in women, it was found necessary to adopt an extensive series of protective measures against her … . We seem to have here a union of the night demon with the spirit that presides over pregnancy, influenced no doubt by the character of the Babylonian Lamassu, and the lamiae and striga of Greek and Roman folklore.”

To Fig

One of the most characteristic and least charming of the Talmudic customs is the gesture “to fig.” This is cited in Rabbi Trachtenberg’s work (page 162) as one of the

“ … most widely used anti-demonic devices … It is made by closing the fist and inserting the thumb between the two fingers. Its particularly obnoxious character … derives from the fact that it is meant as an obscene representation of the sexual act. Menasseh ben Israel was correct both in his explanation of the intent of this gesture, and his association of it with the Talmudic recommendation that to protect oneself against the evil eye one should place his right thumb in his left fist and his left thumb in his right fist … ‘When a man encloses his thumb in his fist he simulates a pregnant woman, and they, the spirits, do not harm him.’ People who employed this gesture were warned that it infuriates the demons at the same time that it renders them harmless; therefore a weak person, ‘especially one who is dangerously ill,’ should forebear to use it, for the spirits may subsequently take vengeance on him.”

The very popular Jewish hand gesture, an anti-demonic device, an obscene representation of the sexual act used also as protection against the evil eye.

“Variations on this theme were also employed: For safety on a journey one should place the little finger of the right hand in the left fist and recite a charm formula. The fingers were used as phallic symbols to the same end, and we learn that a witch is transfixed when one raises his index finger and thumb and recites the name ‘Uriel’ seven times, or that an ‘evil impulse’ may be vanquished by pressing the thumbs on the ground, repeating ‘Pipi’ nine times and spitting.”

Here, as in all cases, the documentation of Rabbi Trachtenberg was monumental.

Spirits and Cemeteries

“Obviously the spirits can help as well as harm the living … An observant visitor to the tomb of Simon bar Yohai, for instance, at Meron, Palestine, will discern a host of written entreaties for the saint’s aid [Note: the “saint” was a second century Talmudic voodoo-worker associated with the Zohar, principal multi-volumed work of the Jewish Cabala] … The ancient practice of visiting the cemetery to entreat the offices of deceased relatives or scholars persisted … In addition to such individual visits, there grew up the custom of the entire congregation repairing to the cemetery annually on several occasions, such as the seven ‘rain fasts,’ and on Tisha ‘B ‘ab … and on the eves of New Year and the Day of Atonement, ‘that the dead may beseech mercy on our behalf.’ “ (Jewish Magic and Superstition by Trachtenberg, page 64)

“The custom of washing the hands after a funeral is very widespread … . Efforts were made to find a Biblical precedent for this act, but … there was a general admission that it was done ‘to dispel the spirits of uncleanness’ which cling to one’s person, these being ‘the demons that follow them home.’”(page 179, same publication).

Today, one may note Jews at such places as Temple Sholom, on elegant Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, dripping water on their hands after a funeral.

The Jewish Encyclopedia (under “Cemetery”) refers to the custom of visiting the cemetery to consult the spirits, and cites the Talmud, Niddah l7a. There it is stated that one “spending a night in a graveyard in order that a spirit of uncleanness may rest upon him — to enable him to foretell the future might sometimes be exposed to danger.” (Talmud, Soncino edition, Niddah, page 113) Reference to this practice is also made in Sanhedrin 65b (See Exhibit 72). That cemeteries are infested with spirits and demons is the general idea.

In this nineteenth-century illustration, John Dee (1527-1608), famous mathematician, philosopher, and astrologer for Queen Elizabeth, holds a torch while an adept Talmudic necromancer consults with a spirit.

Jewish Necromancy

Says Rabbi Trachtenberg:

“The future is an open book to the denizens of the supernatural realm, and like the demons and the angels, the deceased can by eavesdropping pick up the latest decisions of the court on high; ‘they flit through the universe to hear what has been decreed.’ Then they report back to intimates on earth, in dreams or personal appearances … But in general the spirit-world is chary of its secrets and can be induced to reveal them only by magical means … mystical invocations and occult rites are effective in forcing the dead to obey the magician’s will. The art of necromancy is a specialized function of sorcery.” (Jewish Magic and Superstition, page 65)

And:

“The official language of the celestial court is Hebrew … This principle was advanced in the Talmud.” (page 74)

In a chapter “The War With the Spirits,” Rabbi Trachtenberg states:

“The methods of warding off the spirits fell into three general categories: 1. to drive them away … 2. to buy them off with gifts, to bribe them and thus conciliate them; 3. to deceive them by disguising their intended victims, or by pretending that the situation was other than what it was. Each of these methods, and often two or three of them combined, was known and employed by Jews even found expression in special ceremonies which have become part and parcel of Jewish ritual.”

Rabbi Trachtenberg mentions putting a severed foreskin in a bowl of water, with attendants dipping their fingers in bloody fluid, and burying the circumcizer with the foreskins he has severed, as demonic ritual. The unluckiness of even numbers except on special nights when four cups of wine, instead of an odd number may be imbibed, the protective, and divine nature of Talmud study for blunting demons, and the recitation of the Shema at night are noted by the Rabbi, and he states:

“There was no attempt to disguise the purpose of this prayer-service; it was frankly admitted time and again that ‘it exists only because of the demons.” He quotes: ”at my right Michael, at my left Gabriel, before me Uriel, behind me Raphael.” This is nothing more than the Jewish version of the ancient Babylonian incantation, ‘Shamash before me, behind me Sin, Nergal at my right, Ninib at my left,’ or ‘May the good Shedu at my right, the good Lamassu at my left,’ etc. (Jewish Magic and Superstition, page 156)

“The final weapon in the anti-demonic strategy is that of deceit.” Apart from wailers at weddings to deceive the demons into thinking it a sad instead of glad occasion, breaking a glass at a wedding and the Shofar being blown to scare the demons, this strategy of deceit, says the Rabbi, is “most commonly employed in changing an invalid’s name so that the spirits who might be charged with effecting his death would be unable to locate him … just as criminals adopt aliases to evade the police.” (same publication, page 168)

Under “Shinnuy-ha-shem” in the Jewish Encyclopedia, one may read the synagogue formula for changing the name of an invalid so as to fool the demons:

“When the Righteous Judgement has already decreed death from illness, our saintly rabbis said: Three things annul the decree; and one of them is changing the name of the patient. We therefore, in conformity with their advice, have changed the name of (mention here the former name) to the name of (mention the adopted name) who is now another person. The decree shall not have any force with regards to him …

The Shulhan Aruch

Never worry about the spelling of a Talmudic word. As though promoting a program of confusion, as soon as you have identified one spelling, you find another. The above happens to be the spelling in the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, although the name on the book itself is spelled: “Schulchan Aruch” (“Code of Jewish Law,” translated by Hyman E. Goldin; Hebrew Publishing Co., 77-9 Delancey St., N.Y., copyright 1927).

The Schulchan Aruch, says the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia, is the “standard authoritative source for Judaism. It is a compendium of the religious practices of the Jews.” A “Kitzur” or condensed compilation of this work is on sale at Jewish bookstores (Rabbi Solomon Ganzfried, Hebrew Publishing Co., 79 Delancey St., N.Y.).

It was compiled by Joseph Caro (1488-1575). He died in Safed, Palestine, seat of Jewish voodoo mysticism. He was one of those ousted from Spain in 1492 when Spain tired of facilitating “the golden age” for Talmudists.

Since Caro was accused of neglecting some of the customs of Eastern “Ashkenazi,” Polish-Russian-German Jews in favor of Spanish or Sephardic customs, additions were made to this boiled down compilation of the laws of the Talmud by Moses Isserles. It was first published in Venice in 1565, and, to quote: “It became practically canonical.” The Universal Jewish Encyclopedia complains, however, that ever since 1700, due to the exposures of Eisenmenger, the Shulhan Aruch caused anti-Semites to accuse the Jews of being “hostile to humanity … ”

The Kitzur, or abbreviated edition of the Shulhan Aruch, boils down the Talmud laws or Mishnaim, to expedite knowing such things as which shoe to put on in the morning to keep the demons in line, etc. It requires three chapters, for example, to tell the modern Jew how to behave in that beloved Talmudic subject — the privy.

Says Rabbi Trachtenberg: “In Talmudic times it was customary to rattle nuts in a jar to scare away the demons that frequent privies … .” and he cites other devices.

Sections VXXII to CXXV give directions for such petty observances as not bathing, or paring nails during the Tammuz fast. At its termination: “In the evening all enter the synagogue and take off their boots … . All should be seated on the ground, and only a few lights are lit just sufficient to enable them to say Lamentations and the special lamentations. Lamentations and the special lamentations are likewise said in a low tone with a weeping intonation.” (CXXIV, page 60)

“On the Sabbath during the nine days of Ab, it is the custom to call up to Maftir the Rabbi who knows how to lament.” (CXXII, page 59)

The excuse for keeping up this typical pagan Babylonian custom is that one must mourn for the loss of the Jerusalem Temple.

There are three obscene and senseless chapters on how to behave in a privy, much about excreta, and about demon-preventing handwashing from morning to night, against which Christ declaimed. Just the chapters on rules of the sabbath would wear out a piece of stone. For example, “One should not wash his hand upon the ground … because an evil spirit rests upon this water.” (Chapter XLIV, Volume 1, on handwashing at the end of a meal) The right hand and then the left has to be immersed before a meal: “and he should not dry them with his shirt, because it is harmful to the memory.” (Chapter XL)

 

The demon Lilith, a succubus, attacking a man as he sleeps.

“Wisdom of the Sages” for today: “When a man is asleep the holy soul departs from his body, and the unclean spirit comes down upon him. When he rises from his sleep the evil spirit departs from his entire body excepting his fingers. From there the unclean spirit does not depart unless he spills water on them three times alternately. One is not permitted to walk four cubits without having his hands washed.” (Chapter II) A cubit is about 18 inches — so watch your step! This so-called “handwashing” is not for cleanliness, as previously noted, but a ritual in connection with dislodging demons the “Orthodox” or “pious” Jew may well spend the rest of the time invoking or inviting in.

Ritual Murder

Over the centuries, and dating from the time of the Pharisee historian Josephus, in the 1st Century, Jews have repeatedly been charged with “ritual murder”, that is, murder for purposes of paganistic black magic, charges always vehemently denied. Such denials are understandable, when one considers how loathsome such practices are.

Says the 1905 Jewish Encyclopedia: “It may be positively asserted that there is no Jewish ritual which prescribes the use of blood of any human being. Were there such a ritual … there would certainly be some reference to it in the colossal mass of halakic literature … ”

This is an evasion, because no one has accused Judaism of carrying all the bloody business of its demonism in the “halachah” or “legal” literature. Demonism belongs in the “Practical Cabala”, the “theurgic” or wonder-working literature, the manuscripts for which are copied hand to hand. Occasionally one is printed in occult works. Blood, blood, blood is through it all.

One of the many charges of ritual murder was in Russia, in 1912, when Mendel Beilis was accused of this crime of murdering for purposes of black magic. The American Jewish Committee succeeded in interesting journalists to such an extent “that the country was convinced of the infamous character of the charge.” Christian ministers of the USA were induced to send protests to Russia. These “Christian divines” whom the Committee inspired to protest to Russia “disavowed their belief in the atrocious charge.” (See Exhibit 228)

The 1905 Jewish Encyclopedia elaborately denies the “Blood Accusation,” but states:

“Of the alarmingly large number of ritual trials only a few of the more important and instructive can here be mentioned.” One hundred twenty-two are covered. Thirty-nine of these in one row bear dates in the 19th Century. These trials took place from Rumania, Prussia, Bohemia and Germany through to Russia, England and France.

Strange that so many court trials have been held for so many centuries in so many different countries without any foundation whatever except some groundless prejudice?

A reading of the section on “Superstition” in the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia will give a glimpse of occult practices of Judaism continuing today, foul practices such as “to fig,” Kapporah, and the like.

Rabbi Joshua Trachtenberg is cited as an authority as to his Jewish Magic and Superstition (Behrman’s Jewish Book House, Publishers, 1939). In it he seeks to erase the Ritual Murder charges of the centuries, referring to “the constant recurrence of child sacrifice in these trials and the importance of human blood in the witches’ ritual … the most distinguishing elements in the technique of the sorcerer and the witch, as disclosed to popular view by the campaign of the Church.” (page 9)

It is interesting to note that these occult practices are current. The late Dr. Dekker was at one time in the Communist movement, and told me of being a member of the same occult group with Communist Party Chief Earl Browder, for the purpose of “influencing individuals.”

Ancient Talmudic Satanic symbols in common use today by gentiles, not knowing what they are doing.

The publication Ritual Magic [E.M. Butler, Cambridge University Press, 1949] is a good complement to Trachtenberg’s Jewish Magic and Superstition and is a documented book which contains much material and some bloody manuscripts. It was authored by Professor E. M. Butler of Cambridge University (published by the University Press, 1949).

The vast scholarship, the documentation on this subject, are presented in a light hearted style not unmixed with awareness of the perils and the ghastly viciousness of the occult “arts” which translations of museum manuscripts must convey to any sane reader. So reference is made in the Butler book to a branch of this demon magic as belonging to an earlier age: “to the world of the Akkadian-Chaldean ‘Babylonian’ inscriptions and of the Graeco-Egyptian papyri animated by the belief that the gods could and would support the magician in his dealings with the demons, if properly invoked; and that by the use of certain mysterious and ineffable names as well as other spells, they could be forced to do so even against their will.

From the earliest times this extraordinary power was recognized as prone to abuse in the hands of ‘black’ magicians, but the Art itself was not only respectable, it was a high and holy one. Christianity altered all that, anathematizing magic …”

Murdering Children

No one with a grain of common decency could have anything but the utmost denunciation for murdering children in orgies of blood and obscenity. But the Jewish Talmud permits this, today, in the book of Sanhedrin, its supreme “repository” of the criminal law, justified as giving one’s “seed to Molech.”

The Biblical denunciations of the “abominations,” such as Molech and Baal worship, carry little color to the modern reader, who is ignorant of the black demonism, the bloody cruelty and unbridled perverted lust of paganism, nor do the Biblical writers of today enlighten us.

Soundly bedded in the Bible and ancient history is French historian Gustave Flaubert’s description of child sacrifice to the Baal Molech in Carthage, which had been founded by the Phoenicians. The Phoenician city, Tyre, trading center of the ancient World, was infamous for its Lesbianism, Sodomy and Child-burning black rites. Its total and permanent destruction, foretold by Ezekiel (Chapter 26 and 27), was fulfilled to the last detail after Alexander the Great sold 30,000 of its leading citizens into slavery, building a causeway out of the battered walls and towers Nebuchadnezzar had demolished.

Flaubert (who died in 1880) describes the thirst, the fear, of the Carthaginians:

“They had not despatched to Phoenicia their annual offering due to Tyrian Melkarth … . The gods were indignant with the Republic, and were, no doubt, about to prosecute their vengeance …

“All were feeble in comparison with Moloch the Destroyer … there was no pain great enough for the god, since he delighted in such as was of the most horrible description … He must, accordingly, be fully gratified — it was believed that an immolation by fire would purify Carthage. The ferocity of the people was predisposed towards it.

“The Ancients assembled … and when the pontiff of Moloch asked them whether they would consent to surrender their children … All successively bent their heads in approval … The decision was almost immediately known in Carthage, and lamentations resounded. The cries of the women might everywhere be heard; their husbands consoled them, or railed at them with remonstrances … Then … the priests of Moloch began their task. Men in black robes presented themselves in the houses … the servants of Moloch came and took the children away. Others themselves surrendered them stupidly. Then they were brought to the temple of Tanith, where the priestesses were charged with their amusement and support until the solemn day …

“Part of a wall in the temple of Moloch was thrown down in order to draw out the brazen god without touching the ashes of the altar. Then as soon as the Sun appeared the hierodules pushed it toward the square of Khamon.

“It moved backwards sliding upon cylinders; its shoulders overlapped the walls. No sooner did the Carthaginians see it in the distance than they speedily took to flight, for the Baal could be looked upon with impunity only when exercising his wrath.

[page 52] “A smell of aromatics spread through the streets. All the temples had just been opened simultaneously, and from them came forth tabernacles borne upon chariots, or upon litters carried by the pontiffs. Great plumes swayed at the corners of them, and rays were emitted from their slender pinnacles which terminated in balls of crystal, gold, silver or copper.

“These were the Canaanitish Baalim, offshoots of the supreme Baal. Melkarth’s pavilion, which was of fine purple, sheltered a petroleum flame; on Khamon’s, which was of hyacinith color, there rose an ivory phallus [Note: the male procreative symbol which distinguished the “high places” excoriated by the Bible] bordered with a circle of gems; between Eschmoun’s curtains, which were blue as the ether, a sleeping python formed a circle with his tail …

Then came all the inferior forms of the Divinity: Baal Samin, god of celestial space; Baal-Peor … Baal Zehoub … the Irabel of Liyba, the Adrammelech of Chaldaea, the Kijun of the Syrians; Decreto … crept on her fins, and the corpse of ‘Tammouz’ [sex-god whose fast is part of the Talmudic synagogue calendar today] was drawn along in the midst of a catafalque … In order to subdue the kings of the firmament to the Sun [the current Talmudic religion “Greets the Sun” periodically] … diversely colored metal stars were brandished at the end of long poles; and all were there, from the dark Nebo, the genius of Mercury, to the hideous Rahab, which is the constellation of the Crocodile.

The Abbadirs, stones which had fallen from the Moon [Note: New Moon days are celebrated in the synagogues monthly today with superstitious rites] were whirling in slings of silver thread; little loaves, representing the female form were borne on baskets by the priests of Ceres; others brought their fetishes and amulets.”

The Jewish idolaters of Jeremiah’s time used these same “sex loaves” and he bewailed the paganism of those whose “children gather wood and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough to make cakes to the Queen of Heaven.” (Jer. 7:18) But when they had to flee into Egypt, and Jerusalem was leveled to the ground for their abominations, as foretold, and Jeremiah reproved them for the same worship of the sex-goddess, they replied that they would do as they pleased: because they had plenty when they did that and had had troubles since they quit.

“And … did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour our drink offerings unto her without our men?” (Jer. 44:18, 19) Then Jeremiah tells them that is just why they are in the trouble they are — because they did these things.

Concerning the pagan amulets mentioned by Flaubert, they have been used right to the present time by the Talmudic pagans “which say they are Jews.” (Rev. 2:9. See Exhibits 285, 286, and 287)

Continuing Flaubert’s description of the child sacrifices to Molech:

“The brazen statue continued to advance towards the square of Khamon. The rich, carrying scepters with emerald balls … the Ancients with diadems on their heads … masters of the finances, governors of provinces, sailors and the numerous horde employed at funerals, all with the insignia of their magistracies or the instruments of their calling, were making their way … At last the Baal arrived exactly in the Centre of the square.

His pontiffs arranged an enclosure with trellis-work to keep off the multitude … A picture is drawn of the various orders and their positions, their colorful array, “the necromancers all covered with tattooings and the shriekers in patched cloaks … and the Yidonim, who put the bone of a dead man into their mouths to learn the future. The priests of Ceres … were chanting a thesmophorion in the Megarian dialect. [Note: the festival in honor of female procreation of Thesmorphoria.]

“From time to time files of men arrived, completely naked, their arms outstretched, and all holding one another by the shoulders … they drew forth a hoarse and cavernous intonation; their eyes … shone thru the dust, and they swayed their bodies simultaneously, and at equal distances, as though they were all affected by a single movement. They were so frenzied that to restore order the hierodules compelled them, with blows of the stick, to lie flat on the ground, with their faces resting against the brass trellis work.”

A priest of the female procreation goddess Tanith enters and is resented as this is the celebration to honor the male sex-god, Moloch. He, “Schahabarim … owing to his mutilation … could take no part in the cult of Baal.” (Note: The priests of the female goddesses were castrated with “sacred swords” and their “privy member” thrown up against the statue of the goddess as an offering.)

Moses knew of these pagan rites and denounced them in the following terms:

“He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord.” (Deut. 23:1)

The Fire Burns for the Children

Continuing Flaubert:

“Meanwhile a fire of aloes, cedar, and laurel was burning between the legs of the colossus. The tips of its long wings dipped into the flame; the unguents with which it had been rubbed flowed like sweat over its brazen limbs.

“Around the circular flagstone on which its feet rested, the children, wrapped in black veils, formed a motionless circle … The rich, the Ancients, the women, the whole multitude, thronged behind the priests and on the terraces of the houses. The large painted stars revolved no longer; the tabernacles were set on the ground; and the fumes from the censers ascended perpendicularly …

“Many fainted; others became inert and petrified in their ecstasy. Infinite anguish weighed upon the breasts of the beholders … At last the High Priest of Moloch passed his left hand beneath the children’s veils, plucked a lock of hair from their foreheads and threw it upon the flames. Then the men in the red cloaks chanted the sacred hymn:

‘Homage to thee, Sun! King of two zones, self-generating Creator ‘ … their voices were lost in the outburst of instruments sounding simultaneously to drown the cries of the victims. The eightstringed scheminiths, the kinnors which had ten strings and the nebals which had twelve, grated, whistled, and thundered. Enormous leathern bags, bristling with pipes, made a shrill clashing noise; the tambourines, beaten with all the players’ might, resounded with heavy, rapid blows; and in spite of the fury of the clarions, the salsalim snapped like grasshoppers’ wings …

“The hierodules, with a long hook, opened the seven-storied compartments on the body of the Baal. They put meal into the highest, two turtle-doves into the second, an ape into the third, a ram into the fourth, a sheep into the fifth, and as no ox was to be had for the sixth, a tawny hide taken from the sanctuary was thrown into it. The seventh compartment yawned empty still … it was well to make trial of the arms of the god. Slender chainlets stretched from his fingers up to his shoulders and fell behind, where men by pulling them made the two hands rise to a level with the elbows, and come close together against the belly; they were moved several times in succession with little abrupt jerks.

“Then the instruments were still. The fire roared. An individual sacrifice was necessary, a perfectly voluntary oblation … Then the priests to encourage the people drew bodkins from their girdles and gashed their faces. [Note the description in I Kings 18:28 of the priests of Baal: “And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed upon them.”]

“The Devotees, who were stretched on the ground outside, were brought within the enclosure. A bundle of horrible irons was thrown to them, and each chose his own torture. They drove in spits between their breasts; they split their cheeks … then they twined their arms together, and surrounded the children in another large circle which widened and contracted in turns. They reached to the balustrade; they threw themselves back again, and then began once more, attracting the crowd to them by the dizziness of their motion with its accompanying blood and shrieks.”

The Moloch Sacrifice Climaxes

Returning to Flaubert’s description:

“By degrees people came into the end of the passages; they flung into the flames pearls, gold vases, cup, torches, all their wealth; the offerings became more numerous and more splendid.

“At last a man who tottered, a man pale and hideous with terror, thrust forth a child; then a little black mass was seen between the hands of the colossus, and sank into the dark opening. The priests bent over the edge of the great flagstone and a new song burst forth …

“The children ascended slowly, and as the smoke formed lofty eddies as it escaped … Not one stirred. Their wrist and ankles were tied, and the dark drapery prevented them from seeing anything and from being recognized …

“The brazen arms were working more quickly. They paused no longer. Every time that a child was placed in them the priests of Moloch spread out their hands upon him to burden him with the crimes of the people, vociferating:

Infants, carrying the crimes of the people, sacrificed to Moloch.

‘They are not men, but oxen!’ The devout exclaimed: ‘Lord! eat!’ and the priests of Proserpine complying through terror with the needs of Carthage, muttered the Eleusinian formula: ‘Pour out rain! bring forth!’

“The victims when scarcely at the edge of the opening, disappeared like a drop of water on a red-hot plate, and white smoke rose amid the great scarlet color. Nevertheless, the appetite of the god was not appeased. He ever wished for more. In order to furnish him with a larger supply, the victims were piled upon his hands with a big chain above them which kept them in their place.

Some devout persons had at the beginning wished to count them, to see whether their number corresponded with the days of the solar year, but others were brought, and it was impossible to distinguish them in the giddy motion of the horrible arms. This lasted a long, indefinite time until the evening. Then the partitions inside assumed a darker glow, and burning flesh might have been seen. Some even believed they could decry hair, limbs, and whole bodies.

“Night fell: clouds accumulated above the Baal. The funeral-pile, which was flameless now, formed a pyramid of coals up to his knees; completely red like a giant covered with blood, he looked, with his head thrown back, as though he were staggering beneath the weight of his intoxication.

“In proportion as the priests made haste, the frenzy of the people increased; as the number of victims was diminishing, some cried out to spare them, other that still more were needful. The walls, with their burden of people, seemed to be giving away beneath the howlings of terror and mystic voluptuousness. Then the faithful came into the passages, dragging their children, who clung to them; and they beat them in order to make them let go, and handed them over to the men in red. The instrument-players sometimes stopped through exhaustion; then the cries of the others might be heard, and the frizzling of the fat as it fell upon the coals.

“The henbane-drinkers crawled on all fours around the colossus, roaring like tigers; the Yidonim vaticinated, the Devotees sang with their cloven lips; the trellis work had been broken through, all wished for a share in the sacrifice: — fathers, whose children had died previously, cast their effigies, their playthings, their preserved bones into the fire.

“Some who had knives rushed upon the rest. They slaughtered one another. [Note: One is reminded here of Deuteronomy 14:1 “ye shall not cut yourselves.”] The hierodules took the fallen ashes at the edge of the flagstone in bronze fans, and cast them into the air that the sacrifice might be scattered over the town and even to the region of the stars.

“The loud noise and the great light had attracted the Barbarians* to the foot of the walls; they clung to the wreck of the helepolis to have a better view, and gazed open-mouthed in horror.” (“Salammbo,” Gustave Flaubert: born France: died 1880.)

LaCroix on Moloch

As to the same rites, LaCroix states:

“Moloch was represented under the figure of a man with the head of a calf … erected upon an immense oven, which [see Note 1 below] was lighted to consume at once the seven kinds of offerings. During this holocaust, the priests of Moloch kept up a terrible music, with sistrums and tambours, in order to stifle the cries of the victims.

Then took place that infamy cursed by the God of Israel: the Molochites abandoned themselves to practices worthy of the land of Onan (masturbation] and, inspired by the rhythmic sound of the musical instruments, writhed about the incandescent statue, which appeared red thru the smoke; and they gave forth frenzied cries as, in accordance with the Biblical expression, they gave their seed to Moloch.” (“History of Prostitution,” by Paul LaCroix, French author and historian; 1806-84)

Judaism Permits Child Sacrifices to Moloch

The whole Bible is full of and condemns the bloody business of pagan demonology, including Baal worship with its self-cutting with knives and Moloch worship with child sacrifice. Both are condoned or permitted by the modern Jewish Babylonian Talmud.

Every form of ancient paganism decried by the Bible may be found under the “whited sepulchre” of so-called “Judaism,” which is actually Pharisee paganism.

“Christian divines,” now, as formerly, would do well to read up on what the Bible condemns, and find those pagan murder practices have not disappeared from the Earth, nor from the “synagogue of Satan.”

Modern sacrifice to Moloch as allowed by the Babylonian Talmud

Burning children to the demon Moloch is permitted today by the supreme legal authority of the so-called “Jewish” religion, which is the Babylonian Talmud, and, in particular, the Talmud book of Sanhedrin, Folios 64a-64b. Remember, the book of Sanhedrin is, according to its Introduction in the Soncino English translation of 1935, the “chief repository of the criminal law of the Talmud.” (See Exhibit 43)

To justify child sacrifices to Moloch, the Talmud once again cites Scripture, which clearly condemns such pagan practice, and then reverses the clear meaning of the Scripture with hairsplitting “exceptions” to justify these sacrifices. (See Exhibits 66, 67, 68, and 69)

Thus, as Christ put it to the Pharisees, you make the “commandment of God of none effect. Ye hypocrites! Well did Esaias [Isaiah] prophecy of you, saying, This people draw nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.” (Matt. 15:7) Christ also referred to Isaiah 29:13. Isaiah well knew the breed of Satanists who used the Bible to destroy it.

The “Mishna” of the Sanhedrin (Exhibit 66) sets out to make supposedly clear orders of Moses against burning or causing to be burned any child to Moloch by (1) handing the child to Moloch and (2) causing the child to be burned.

But, note the “explanation” to the Talmudic Mishna, which states (Exhibit 66): “He who gives of his seed to Molech incurs no punishment unless he delivers it to Moloch” (1) “and causes it to pass through the fire” (2). “If he gave it to Moloch but he did not cause it to pass through the fire, or the reverse” (i.e. caused his child to pass through the fire, but did not give it to Moloch) “he incurs no penalty unless he does both.”

At this point, does it really matter whether an innocent child has been burned in fire and also “given to Moloch” when its murder by fire is condoned if the latter proviso is excluded?

In a footnote to the same Talmud “Mishna” reference (Exhibit No. 66), it is “explained:”

“(5) As two separate offenses, proving that giving one’s seed to Moloch is not idolatry.” What foul idolatry!

The same Talmud section (see Exhibit 67) subverts the Mishna exception “unless he gives it to Moloch” further to: “Punishment is not incurred unless he delivers his seed to the acolytes of Moloch.” Thus, if one delivers his own child into the fire, for death, and to Moloch, there would be “no punishment.”

A further “explanatory footnote” says: “He explains this to be the meaning of the Mishna unless he gives it to Moloch (5). This proves that the offense consists of two parts; (1) formal delivery to the priests, and (2) causing the seed to pass through the fire.” (Exhibit 67)

The same Talmud section (Exhibit 69) includes the repetitional statement that: “the service of Moloch … is not included in general idolatry.” (Note: Reversing the chief idolatrous practice denounced by the Bible!) In Leviticus XX, 2 it is stated: “And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying: … Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel that giveth any of his seed to Molech … Then treatment of a murderer is demanded: “He shall surely be put to death.”

As to this Biblical prohibition, the Talmud is a masterpiece of satanism stating (Exhibit 68): “If one caused all his seed to pass through the fire to Molech, he is exempt, because it is written, ‘of thy seed’ implying, but not all thy seed.” In footnote 4 the Biblical citation as authority is given as the Leviticus reference referred to above.

Thus, the Talmud “nullifies” the word of God, reversing it while giving it as authority, to permit murdering one’s child in the service of Molech! This cannot be from ignorance of God’s word, clearly cited, and is nothing but sheer blasphemy.

Blood Sacrifice…… this intense ritual has been around forever and still exists today in many parts of the world.

• There has always been cultures throughout history that have made sacrifice to their God Deities or idols. All in order to please them and to gain favor from them.
• There were many times throughout the Bible that sacrificial offerings were made to God. In most cases a virgin lamb was used. You will note that in most animal sacrifices the animal is to be virgin. This is because it is pure. You will also note that God only found blood sacrifice pleasing.
• We have the story of Cain and Abel where Abel used blood sacrifice and found the favor of God and Cain used vegetables and did not find favor with God so Cain got jealous and killed Abel.
• We have Abraham in the Bible who was asked to sacrifice his firstborn  son to God. Replacing animal life for human life. But then God stopped him for he was only testing him.
• Let’s face it… the Bible is full of Blood Sacrifice and killing all in the name of God. Makes you wonder doesn’t it?

• We have the Aztecs who were very big on Human and animal sacrifice. It was an integral part of their Religion. They had many Blood thirsty Gods that needed to be pleased. As they saw it, the offering of blood through human sacrifice ensured the perpetuation of the universe. Spanish observers found the practice utterly revolting for Aztecs would take their victims… make them lay perfectly still while the High Priest took a stone knife and cut out their heart.

The Aztec priests were also into self mutilation. For instance, cutting their own genitalia and worst of all they would take a rope and embed it with large thorns. Then they would pierce their tongue and thread the thorn embedded rope through the tongue. The likes would have to be such an excruciating pain that they would leave their bodies and travel to other dimensions. Similar to the american Indians who would do piercing to achieve OBE’s. Reference the movie "A man called Horse".



Now in the ancient days the ultimate sacrifice was to be that of a virgin young boy. Even today human sacrifice goes on, but only in the most secretive places. There are some Devil worshipers (not Satanists) that practice the art. I myself have seen on video their practice of cutting out the internal organs of a human and then rolling around in the blood and drinking it which then led to sexual orgies. I can only add my opinion to say that they are sick for they usually use kidnapped children and runaways. This is something that the Police do not talk about because they are afraid of it. Most children that disappear usually end up this way and not in the hands of a molester. If the Law Enforcement weren’t so chicken shit they would take care of the problem and also inform the public

Now the good stuff… sacrifice for conjuring of Demonic Beings. Now for the Truly brave Sorcerer, he will use his own blood which I myself am accustom to. But the norm is to use that of an animal. For instance, using white doves or chickens. There are many different animals that can be used according to who you are conjuring up. Remember if they are virgin animals, it is all the more pleasing to the Entity.

Why do you need to use blood? Because blood is life… it has an energy… a life force. So Demons are attracted to it. Plus it gives them some substance to take some form. If only you could see the demons attracted to the fresh corpses of the newly killed on the battlefield in times of war.

Now… when you sacrifice an animal and pour the blood into the Triangle of Solomon… it has only a life force time of about fifteen minutes. Once the life force is exhausted the Entity will probably leave. You can take note of a similar situation when Crowley conjured the Mighty Demon "Chorozon" in the desert. You will also take note that Crowley’s partner was almost killed when attacked by the Demon and many believe that this conjuring of Chorozon led to Crowley’s eventual death. This is because Crowley let the Demon take possession of his body so it could talk through him.

Now their are many of you who would never think of doing such a thing and that is fine. For you like many others may use Incense. For it is also pleasing to the entities and will give them something to help them take form.

One last note… this is not to encourage you to do such things… only to inform you! Head my words… Blood sacrifice is very dangerous, especially for the inexperienced Sorcerer!!! You will probably end up the victim yourself by the hands of the Entity that you conjured up!

Using Hallucinogens for Spiritual Purposes

    During the peak of one of my first LSD trips I came to the realization that all the knowledge of the universe was at my fingertips. So, I seized the moment and asked myself some the universal questions I had always wondered about.
I started with, "Why are we all here?"
And the answer came into my head as one word, "LOVE."
Then I asked myself, "What is the purpose of this life?"
And again, instantly I knew it was "LOVE."
I asked yet another question, "Who or what created us?"
And again "LOVE" cascaded throughout my being.
    As you can begin to see, hallucinogens (or entheogens, as many of us like to call them) have helped shape, or unshape, my psyche and attitudes toward life. Before I used entheogens, I was not very interested in spirituality or discovering the answers to any of my questions about the universe. This is because I was the type of person that needed to see it, in order to believe it. I figured that there was really no point in trying to figure it all out, because no one could really ever know until they died.
    Entheogens were a complete wake-up call for me; they totally changed my perspective on the nature of reality. They enabled me to see it, so to speak. By far, my entheogenic journeys were the peak experiences of my life – I wouldn’t trade them for any other experience in the world.
    I am not alone in this belief; during a study at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, researchers gave 36 volunteers psilocybin, the active constituent in hallucinogenic mushrooms. Two-thirds of the participants described the effects of psilocybin as among the five most meaningful experiences of their lives (Griffiths et al., 2006).
Overview of Spiritual Use
Entheogens have been used as a spiritual tool for exploring consciousness by many different cultures throughout history.  Some examples are the kykeon of Eleusis, the soma of the Rg Veda, the peyote of the Native American church, the teonanácatl of the Aztecs, and the ayahuasca or hoasca of the Santo Daime and União do Vegetal.
    The word entheogen has a very spiritual connotation, unlike many of the other words used to describe psychedelic or hallucinogenic drugs. Entheogens, like LSD, DMT and mescaline, can help you understand the timeless divinity that links us all together.
The word entheogen was originally created by Carl A. P. Ruck, Jeremy Bigwood, Danny Staples, Jonathan Ott, and R. Gordon Wasson (1979). Here is what they wrote about its meaning:
All languages grow together with the peoples who speak them, borrowing or inventing terms to keep pace with what is new and retiring others when they are no longer needed. When the recent surge of recreational use of so-called "hallucinogenic" or "psychedelic" drugs first came to popular attention in the early 1960s, it was commonly viewed with suspicion and associated with the behavior of deviant or revolutionary groups….
Out of the many words proposed to describe this unique class of drugs only a few have survived in current usage. It is the contention of the authors who have subscribed their names to this article that none of these terms really deserve greater longevity if our language is not to perpetuate the misunderstandings of the past….
[N]ot only is "psychedelic" an incorrect verbal formation, but it has become so invested with connotations of the pop-culture of the 1960s that it is incongruous to speak of a shaman’s taking a "psychedelic" drug.
We, therefore, propose a new term that would be appropriate for describing states of shamanic and ecstatic possession induced by ingestion of mind-altering drugs. In Greek the word entheos means literally "god (theos) within," and was used to describe the condition that follows when one is inspired and possessed by the god that has entered one’s body. It was applied to prophetic seizures, erotic passion and artistic creation, as well as to those religious rites in which mystical states were experienced through the ingestion of substances that were transubstantial with the deity. In combination with the Greek root gen-, which denotes the action of "becoming," this word results in the term that we are proposing: entheogen.
Spiritual Use of DMT
DMT, or dimethyltryptamine, is one example of an entheogen that has been used in a spiritual setting for millennia. As previously mentioned, two South American churches, the Santo Daime and União do Vegetal, use ayahuasca, or hoasca, as their sacrament. This is a tea made from boiled plants. One plant contains DMT and another plant contains MAOIs, or monoamine oxidase inhibitors. DMT is only orally active when it is combined with an MAOI. Otherwise DMT can be insufflated, smoked, injected, or administered anally without an MAOI.
Despite the fact that DMT is classified as a Schedule I drug, the United States Supreme Court still recognized its spiritual significance. In the case of Gonzales v. O Centro Espirita Beneficente União do Vegetal, the Supreme Court heard arguments on November 1, 2005 and unanimously ruled in February 2006 that the U.S. Federal Government must allow the União do Vegetal to import and consume ayahuasca for religious ceremonies under the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Even our own Supreme Court recognizes the spiritual significance of these substances.

In religion and mythology, occultism and folklore, a demon (or daemon, daimon; from Greek δαίμων daimôn) is a supernatural being that is generally described as a malevolent spirit; however, the original neutral connotation of the Greek word daimon does not carry the negative one that was later projected onto it, as Christianity spread.

In Ancient Near Eastern religions as well as in the derived Abrahamic traditions, including ancient and medieval Christian demonology, a demon is considered an "unclean spirit" which may cause demonic possession, to be addressed with an act of exorcism. In Western occultism and Renaissance magic, which grew out of an amalgamation of pagan Greco-Roman, Jewish and Christian tradition^{[citation needed]}, a demon is considered a spiritual entity that may be conjured and controlled. Many of the demons in literature were once fallen angels, however there are many that say that they are born-forged from Hellitself.^{[citation needed]}

Ancient Greek δαίμων daimōn is a word for "spirit" or "divine power", much like the Latin genius or numen. The Merriam-Webster dictionary gives the etymology of the Greek word as from the verb daiesthai "to divide, distribute." The Greek conception of a δαίμων notably appears in the works of Plato, where it describes the divine inspiration of Socrates. To distinguish the classical Greek concept from its later Christian interpretation, it is usually anglicized as either daemon or daimon rather than demon.

The Greek term does not have any connotations of evil or malevolence. In fact, εὐδαιμονία, literally "good-spiritedness", is a term for "happiness". The term first acquired its now-current evil connotations in the Septuagint translation of the Hebrew Bible, informed by the mythology of the ancient Semitic religions. This connotation was inherited by the Koine text of the New Testament. The medieval and neo-medieval conception of a "demon" in Western civilization (see the Medieval grimoire called the Ars Goetia) derives seamlessly from the ambient popular culture of Late (Roman) Antiquity. Greco-Roman concepts of daemons that passed into Christian culture are discussed in the entry daemon, though it should be duly noted that the term referred only to a spiritual force, not a malevolent supernatural being. The Hellenistic "daemon" eventually came to include many Semitic and Near Eastern gods as evaluated by Christianity.

The supposed existence of demons is an important concept in many modern religions^[who?] and occultist traditions. In some present-day cultures, demons are still feared in popular superstition, largely due to their alleged power to possess living creatures. In the contemporary Western occultist tradition (perhaps epitomized by the work of Aleister Crowley), a demon, such as Choronzon, the "Demon of the Abyss", is a useful metaphor for certain inner psychological processes ("inner demons"), though some may also regard it as an objectively real phenomenon. Some scholars^[1] believe that large portions of the demonology (see Asmodai) of Judaism, a key influence on Christianity and Islam, originated in Zoroastrianism, and were transferred to Judaism during the Persian era.

Psychologist Wilhelm Wundt remarks that "among the activities attributed by myths all over the world to demons, the harmful predominate, so that in popular belief bad demons are clearly older than good ones."^[2] Sigmund Freud develops on this idea and claims that the concept of demons was derived from the important relation of the living to the dead: "The fact that demons are always regarded as the spirits of those who have died recently shows better than anything the influence of mourning on the origin of the belief in demons."

M. Scott Peck, an American psychiatrist, wrote two books on the subject, People of the Lie: The Hope For Healing Human Evil^[3] and Glimpses of the Devil: A Psychiatrist’s Personal Accounts of Possession, Exorcism, and Redemption.^[4]

Peck describes in some detail several cases involving his patients. In People of the Lie: The Hope For Healing Human Evil he gives some identifying characteristics for evil persons whom he classifies as having a character disorder. In Glimpses of the Devil, A Psychiatrist’s Personal Accounts of Possession, Exorcism, and Redemption Peck goes into significant detail describing how he became interested in exorcism in order to debunk the "myth" of possession by evil spirits–only to be convinced otherwise after encountering two cases which did not fit into any category known to psychology or psychiatry. Peck came to the conclusion that possession was a rare phenomenon related to evil. Possessed people are not actually evil; they are doing battle with the forces of evil.^[5] His observations on these cases are listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (IV) of the American Psychiatric Association.^[6]

Although Peck’s earlier work was met with widespread popular acceptance, his work on the topics of evil and possession has generated significant debate and derision. Much was made of his association with (and admiration for) the controversial Malachi Martin, a Roman Catholic priest and a former Jesuit, despite the fact that Peck consistently called Martin a liar and manipulator.^[6][7] Other criticisms leveled against Peck include misdiagnoses based upon a lack of knowledge regarding dissociative identity disorder (formerly known as multiple personality disorder), and a claim that he had transgressed the boundaries of professional ethics by attempting to persuade his patients into accepting Christianity.^[6]

Ancient Near East

Mesopotamia

In Chaldean mythology the seven evil deities were known as shedu, meaning storm-demons. They were represented in winged bull form, derived from the colossal bulls used as protective genii of royal palaces, the name "shed" assumed also the meaning of a propitious genius in Babylonian magic literature.^[8]

It was from Chaldea that the name "shedu" came to the Israelites, and so the writers of the Tanach applied the word as a dylogism to the Canaanite deities in the two passages quoted. But they also spoke of "the destroyer" (Exodus xii. 23) as a demon whose malignant effect upon the houses of the Israelites was to be warded off by the blood of the paschal sacrifice sprinkled upon the lintel and the door-post (a corresponding pagan talisman is mentioned in Isaiah lvii. 8). In II Samuel xxiv; 16 and II Chronicles xxi. 15 the pestilence-dealing demon is called "the destroying angel" (compare "the angel of the Lord" in II Kings xix. 35; Isaiah xxxvii. 36), because, although they are demons, these "evil messengers" (Psalms lxxviii. 49; A. V. "evil angels") do only the bidding of God; they are the agents of His divine wrath.

There are indications that popular Hebrew mythology ascribed to the demons a certain independence, a malevolent character of their own, because they are believed to come forth, not from the heavenly abode of God, but from the nether world.^[9]

Hebrew demons were workers of harm. To them were ascribed the various diseases, particularly such as affect the brain and the inner parts. Hence there was a fear of "Shabriri" (lit. "dazzling glare"), the demon of blindness, who rests on uncovered water at night and strikes those with blindness who drink of it;^[10] also mentioned were the spirit of catalepsy and the spirit of headache, the demon of epilepsy, and the spirit of nightmare.

These demons were supposed to enter the body and cause the disease while overwhelming or "seizing" the victim (hence "seizure"). To cure such diseases it was necessary to draw out the evil demons by certain incantations and talismanic performances, in which the Essenes excelled. Josephus, who speaks of demons as "spirits of the wicked which enter into men that are alive and kill them", but which can be driven out by a certain root,^[11] witnessed such a performance in the presence of the Emperor Vespasian,^[12] and ascribed its origin to King Solomon.

Ancient Arabia

Pre-Islamic mythology does not discriminate between gods and demons. The jinn are considered as divinities of inferior rank, having many human attributes: they eat, drink, and procreate their kind, sometimes in conjunction with human beings. The jinn smell and lick things, and have a liking for remnants of food. In eating they use the left hand. Usually they haunt waste and deserted places, especially the thickets where wild beasts gather. Cemeteries and dirty places are also favorite abodes. When appearing to man, jinn sometimes assume the forms of beasts and sometimes those of men.

Generally, jinn are peaceable and well disposed toward men. Many a pre-Islamic poet was believed to have been inspired by good jinn, but there are also evil jinn, who contrive to injure men.

Hebrew Bible

Those in the Hebrew Bible are of two classes, the se’irim and the shedim. The se’irim ("hairy beings"), to which some Israelites offered sacrifices in the open fields, are satyr-like creatures, described as dancing in the wilderness,^[13] and which are identical with the jinn, such as Dantalion, the 71st spirit of Solomon. (But compare the completely European woodwose.) Possibly to the same class belongs Azazel, the goat-like demons of the wilderness,^[14] probably the chief of the se’irim, and Lilith.^[15] Possibly "the roes and hinds of the field", by which Shulamit conjures the daughters of Jerusalem to bring her back to her lover,^[16] are faunlike spirits similar to the se’irim, though of a harmless nature.

The evil spirit that troubled Saul (I Samuel 16:14 et seq.) may have been a demon^{[citation needed]}, though the Masoretic text tells us that the spirit was sent by God.

Some benevolent shedim were used in kabbalistic ceremonies (as with the golem of Rabbi Yehuda Loevy), and malevolent shedim (mazikin, from the root meaning "to damage") were often creedited with possession. Similarly, a shed might inhabit an otherwise inanimate statue.

Judaism

Jewish demonology

In some rabbinic sources, the demons were believed to be under the dominion of a king or chief, either Asmodai ^[17] or, in the older Haggadah, Samael ("the angel of death"), who kills by his deadly poison, and is called "chief of the devils". Occasionally a demon is called "satan": "Stand not in the way of an ox when coming from the pasture, for Satan dances between his horns".^[18]

Demonology never became an essential feature of Jewish theology^{[citation needed]}. The reality of demons was never questioned by the Talmudists and late rabbis; most accepted their existence as a fact. Nor did most of the medieval thinkers question their reality. Only rationalists like Maimonides and Abraham ibn Ezra, clearly denied their existence. Their point of view eventually became the mainstream Jewish understanding.

Rabbinical demonology has three classes of demons, though they are scarcely separable one from another. There were the shedim, the mazziḳim ("harmers"), and the ruḥin ("spirits"). Besides these there were lilin ("night spirits"), ṭelane ("shade", or "evening spirits"), ṭiharire ("midday spirits"), and ẓafrire ("morning spirits"), as well as the "demons that bring famine" and "such as cause storm and earthquake" (Targ. Yer. to Deuteronomy xxxii. 24 and Numbers vi. 24; Targ. to Cant. iii. 8, iv. 6; Eccl. ii. 5; Ps. xci. 5, 6.)^[19]

Christian demonology

Christian demonology

"Demon" has a number of meanings, all related to the idea of a spirit that inhabited a place, or that accompanied a person. Whether such a daemon was benevolent or malevolent, the Greek word meant something different from the later medieval notions of ‘demon’, and scholars debate the time in which first century usage by Jews and Christians in its original Greek sense became transformed to the later medieval sense. Some denominations asserting Christian faith also include, exclusively or otherwise,fallen angels as de facto demons; this definition also covers the "sons of God" described in Genesis who abandoned their posts in heaven to mate with human women on Earth before the Deluge.^[20]

In the Gospel of Mark, Jesus casts out many demons, or evil spirits, from those who are afflicted with various ailments. Jesus is far superior to the power of demons over the beings that they inhabit, and he is able to free these victims by commanding and casting out the demons, by binding them, and forbidding them to return. Jesus also lends this power to some of his disciples, who rejoice at their new found ability to cast out all demons.^[21]

By way of contrast, in the book of Acts a group of Judaistic exorcists known as the sons of Sceva try to cast out a very powerful spirit without believing in or knowing Jesus, but fail with disastrous consequences. However Jesus himself never fails to vanquish a demon, no matter how powerful (see the account of the demon-possessed man at Gerasim), and even defeats Satan in the wilderness (see Gospel of Matthew).

There is a description in the Book of Revelation 12:7-17 of a battle between God’s army and Satan’s followers, and their subsequent expulsion from Heaven to Earth to persecute humans — although this event is related as being foretold and taking place in the future. In Luke 10:18 it is mentioned that a power granted by Jesus to cast out demons made Satan "fall like lightning from heaven."

Augustine of Hippo‘s reading of Plotinus, in City of God (ch.11) is ambiguous as to whether daemons had become ‘demonized’ by the early 5th century:

"He [Plotinus] also states that the blessed are called in Greek eudaimones, because they are good souls, that is to say, good demons, confirming his opinion that the souls of men are demons.^[22]

The contemporary Roman Catholic Church unequivocally teaches that angels and demons are real personal beings, not just symbolic devices. The Catholic Church has a cadre of officially sanctioned exorcists which perform many exorcisms each year. The exorcists of the Catholic Church teach that demons attack humans continually but that afflicted persons can be effectively healed and protected either by the formal rite of exorcism, authorized to be performed only by bishops and those they designate, or by prayers of deliverance which any Christian can offer for themselves or others.^[23]

Building upon the few references to daemons in the New Testament, especially the visionary poetry of the Apocalypse of John, Christian writers of apocrypha from the 2nd century onwards created a more complicated tapestry of beliefs about "demons" that was largely independent of Christian scripture.

At various times in Christian history, attempts have been made to classify these beings according to various proposed demonic hierarchies.

According to most Christian demonology demons will be eternally punished and never reconciled with God. Other theories postulate a Universal reconciliation, in which Satan, the fallen angels, and the souls of the dead that were condemned to Hell are reconciled with God. This doctrine is today often associated with the Unification Church. Origen, Jerome and Gregory of Nyssa also mentioned this possibility.

In contemporary Christianity, demons are generally considered to be angels who fell from grace by rebelling against God. However, other schools of thought in Christianity or Judaism teach that demons, or evil spirits, are a result of the sexual relationships between fallen angels and human women. When these hybrids (Nephilim) died they left behind disembodied spirits that "roam the earth in search of rest" (Luke 11:24). Many non-canonical historical texts describe in detail these unions and the consequences thereof. This belief is repeated in other major ancient religions and mythologies. Christians who reject this view do so by ascribing the description of "Sons of God" in Genesis 6 to be the sons of Seth (one of Adam’s sons).

There are some who say that the sin of the angels was pride and disobedience, these being the sins that caused Satan’s downfall (Ezek. 28). If this be the true view, then we are to understand the words, "estate" or "principality" in Deuteronomy 32:8 and Jude 6 ("And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.") as indicating that instead of being satisfied with the dignity once for all assigned to them under the Son of God, they aspired higher….

Islam

Islam recognizes the existence of the jinn. Jinns are not the "genies" of modern lore, and they are not all evil, as demons are described in Christianity, but as creatures that co-exist with humans. In Islam the evil jinns are referred to as the shayātīn, or devils, and Iblis (Satan) is their chief. Iblis was the first Jinn who disobeyed Allah. According to Islam, the jinn are made from the fire (whereas angels are made from light and mankind is made from altered clay).

According to the Qur’an, Iblis was once a pious servant of Allah, but when Allah created Adam from clay, Iblis became very jealous, and arrogant and disobeyed Allah.

Adam was the first man, and man was the greatest creation of Allah. Iblis could not stand this, and refused to acknowledge a creature made of "dirt" (man). Allah condemned Iblis to be punished after death eternally in the hellfire. Allah had created hell.

Iblis asked Allah if he may live to the last day and have the ability to mislead mankind and jinns, Allah said that Iblis may only mislead those whom have forsaken Allah. Iblis then turned himself into the Devil and had the powers of trickery.

Adam and Eve (Hawwa in Arabic) were both together misled by Iblis into eating the forbidden fruit, and consequently fell from the garden of Eden to Earth.

The word "genie" comes from the French ‘génie’ for genius used in translations of Arabic text and only sounds coincidentally like the Arabic jinn. This is not surprising considering the story of `Alā’ ad-Dīn, (anglicized as Aladdin), passed through Arabian merchants en route to Europe.

Hinduism

Hindu mythology include numerous varieties of spirits that might be classified as demons, including Vetalas, Yakshas, Bhutas and Pishachas. Often Rakshasas and Asuras are mistakenly taken to mean demons.

Asuras

Originally, Asura, in the earliest hymns of the Rig Veda, meant any supernatural spirit, both good and bad. Since the /s/ of the Indic linguistic branch is cognate with the /h/ of the Early Iranian languages, the word Asura, representing a category of celestial beings, became the word Ahura (Mazda), the Supreme God of the monotheistic Zoroastrians. Ancient Hinduism tells that Devas and Asuras are half-brothers, sons of the same father Kasyapa; but some of the devas, like Varuna, are also named Asuras. But much later at puranic age Asura (also Rakshasa) came to exclusively mean any of a race of anthropomorphic, powerful, possibly evil beings. All words such as Asura, Daitya (lit., sons of the mother "Diti"), Rakshasa (lit. from "harm to be guarded against") are incorrectly translated into English as demon. A dominant depiction of Asuras is someone who is in constant battle with devas, their half-brothers, to establish supremacy and to secure immortality^{[citation needed]}. Both asuras and devas are as much bound by their karmas as humans^{[citation needed]}. Asuras do accept and worship the Gods, particularly the Hindu triumvirate; some of the rakshasas like Ravana and Mahabali are exemplary devotees. Often the strife between the asuras and the devas is simply a political one: devas are the ordained maintainers of the realms with power (and immortality) accorded to them by the gods and asuras ever strive to attain both. Asuras usually attain or enhance their supernatural powers through penance to gods and waging war on devas using powers thus attained. Unlike Christian notion of demons, asuras are not the cause of the evil and unhappiness in mankind (unhappiness in humans, according to Hinduism is by one’s own actions (Karma) and/or due to the continued ignorance of Brahman, the unchanging reality. Asuras, if any, are cogs in the wheel of Karma); they are not fundamentally against the Gods, nor do they tempt humans to fall. In fact, asuras, much like devas, do worship the Gods of Hinduism: many Asuras are said to have been granted boons from one of the members of the Hindu trinity, viz., Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva when the latter had been appeased from their penances. This is markedly different from the traditional Western notions of demons as a rival army of God. In Hindu mythology, pious, highly enlightened asuras, like Prahlada and Vibheeshana, are not at all uncommon. Prahlada even said to have secured enlightenment to his entire lineage (of asuras). All Asuras, unlike the devas, are said to have born mortals (though they ever strive to become immortal). Many people metaphorically interpret asuras as manifestations of the ignoble passions in human mind and as a symbolic device. There were also cases of power-hungry asuras challenging various aspects of Gods, but only to be defeated eventually and seek forgiveness—see Surapadman, Narakasura.

Evil spirits

Hinduism advocates the theory of reincarnation and transmigration of souls according to one’s Karma. Souls (Atman) of the dead are adjudged by the Yama and are accorded various purging punishments before being reborn. Humans that have committed extraordinary wrongs are condemned to roam as lonely, often evil, spirits for a length of time before being reborn. Many kinds of such spirits (Vetalas, Pishachas, Bhūta) are recognized in the later Hindu texts. These beings, in a limited sense, can be called demons.

Bahá’í Faith

In the Bahá’í Faith, demons are not regarded as independent evil spirits as they are in some faiths. All evil spirits described in various faith traditions such as satan, fallen angels, demons and jinns are metaphors for the base character traits a human being may acquire and manifest when he turns away from God and follows his lower nature. Belief in the existence of ghosts and earthbound spirits is rejected and considered to be the product of superstition.^[24]

THE GOAT FOOT GREAT MASTURBATOR

Despite the similarity of names, Lucifuge is distinctly inferior of rank to (Diana-Lucifera) Lucifer. S. L. MacGregor Mathers ranked Lucifuge as the Arch-Daemon of the Feminine realm of Binah, the third sphere found upon the Kabbalistic Tree of the Sephiroth (see The Kabbalah Unveiled, plate IV).

Under his extended title Lucifuge Rofocale is featured prominently within the 17th Century Grand Grimoire of tome, where a Black Pact is described between the Sorcerer and the Daemon. An illustration of Lucifuge Rofocole within the Grand Grimoire has Lucifuge sitting behind a table with parchment and quill at the ready like that of the Artist Salvador Dali sitting at a table made by the arching body of a woman. The 17th century illustration of Lucifuge Rofocale was also utilised for Aleister Crowley’s illustrated Goetia, for Lucifuge teaches all aspects of Sorcery practice. The final part of the declaration by the Daemon to the Sorcerer gives a clear indication of the nature of the transaction:

"I also approve thy Book, and I give thee my true signature on parchment, which thou shalt affix at its end, to make use of at thy need. Further, I place myself at thy disposition, to appear before thee at thy call when, being purified, and holding the dreadful Blasting Rod, thou shalt open the Book, having described the Kabalistic circle and pronounced the word Rofocale. I promise thee to have friendly commerce with those who are fortified by the possession of the said Book, where my true signature stands, provided that they invoke me according to rule, on the first occassion that they require me. I also engage to deliver thee the treasure which thou seekest, on condition that thou keepest the secret for ever inviolable, act cheritable to the poor and dost give me a gold or silver coin on the first day of every month. If thou failest, thou art mine everlastingly." – LUCIFUGE ROFOCALE

One cannot help getting the impression that Lucifuge Rofocale is an astute Lawyer of the infernal realms; however his Horns to indicate otherwise for he is in fact a Shamans benefactor whom bestows the treasure of Sorcery knowledge to inspire. Woe to the Sorcerer if he should ever become poor after sealing this pact with the Daemon. The failure to yield up a Gold or Silver coin at the beginning of every month results in everlasting damnation. The Sorcerer is counting on the Daemon delivering the promised treasure, so that he will have a supply of this tribute thereafter, but should the Daemon delay the promised delivery of the treasure, the Sorcerer may find himself in a difficult position.

However the Gold and Silver coin alludes to something quite other of association for what would an immaterial Daemon desire of material coinage, which is the primary affair of the all too Human. The Gold and Silver coin actually refers to the Sun and Moon whose symbolism is associated with two nerve channels running along either side of the Sorcerer’s spine and the two hemispheres of the Brain as well as referring to the Sephiroth of Tiphareth (Sun) and Yesod (Moon) of the Kabbalah. What Lucifuge Rofocale is actually speaking about is that the Sorcerer can never become slack in his Sorcery practice whereby the first day of every month the Sorcerer has to indicate his growing understanding of his Art pertaining to the spheres of the Sun and Moon in order to attain a balance between the Macrocosm of the waking world of the (Gold) Sun (Land) and the Microcosm of the (Silver) Luna Dream (Water) whereby the Sorcerer has the true wealth of Gold and Silver to thence become amphibious of Consciousness, which Lucifuge inspires and requires of further tutelage.

Should the Sorcerer neglect and thereby fail in his Sorcery practice he will thence go back to sleep to become just as Blind as everybody else whereupon Lucifuge Rofocale will thereby fragment his Mind for only the singular of Eye Sorcerer is as a King in the land of the Blind.

When one treads the path of Sorcery in order to win ones own Horns of Sun and Moon betwixt which be the Trans-mundane Horn of Amphibious Consciousness to attain there is no way of going back to the Mundane world of sleep, for if the Sorcerer attempts to do so he will go quite insane!

A common feature of the Black Pact was the book of Spirits, which was signed by the Daemon or Daemons involved. Of course, the Daemons did not actually sign the book they merely revealed their unique seals and signatures via Visions and Dreams so that the Sorcerer could sign for them to thereby also illustrate their manifestations within his Necronomicon book of Shadows. Sometimes this occurred while the Sorcerer entered Trance to become possessed by the Daemon, so that afterwards the Sorcerer did not realize that he himself had made the signature in the book. The Blasting Rod referred to is the Magick Wand. The Kabbalistic circle is the ritual circle of Evocation. The word "Rofocale" is the word of power by which the Daemon is summoned by the Sorcerer.

Sorcery is indivisible from Art, they are one and the same of Magickal practice whose continuance from the time of Cave painting to that of Canvas to paint continues on when to formulate Computer Generated Imagery. When one creates a work of Art one is fusing two states of Consciousness together of Alchemy being that of the Sun and Moon whence one becomes Amphibious of perception between the waking world and that of the Dream. It is then one can Evoke (Binah) forms amidst ones Triangle of Art Imagination to thence fix into materialisation via ones Singular of ‘Eye’ upon Canvas to paint with ones Wand of brush while one to stand within ones Magick Circle of a Studio.

Artists are apparently supposed to be poor as the popular myth goes whereupon should a male Artist attempt to chat up a woman by saying he is an Artist he will quickly find it will not cut the ice for she will determine that his wallet is very much on the small size; Artists are supposed to suffer for their Art, this is why many an Art Ghoul likes to feed upon the life of Vincent van Gogh, who was very poor during his time on Earth as well as his work being extremely unpopular to be ignored. Such myths provide the fodder for cannibalistic Art critics whom love to feast upon the Artist as being misunderstood, not appreciated in order for the Critic to earn big bucks interpreting the Artists work, but how far have we advanced; for “now” we realise their talents in hindsight, especially that of Vincent van Gough for his Silver framed work to be worth mountains of Golden coin. The Spanish Surrealist Artist Salvador Dali, however, always made it known that he did not share this rather bizarre ambition to live a life of tortured poverty. He wanted to earn money in order to work as he pleased. André Breton, the “Pope of Surrealism”, hence nicknamed Dali “Avida Dollars,” an anagram of his name, meaning “eager for Dollars”. Indeed, Dali liked money, but it seems this is where most observers of Dali content themselves with of comfy zone observation: he was a Painter, a Surrealist Painter, in love with coin, who painted for Silver and Gold.

In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. Dalí’s Artistic repertoire included Paintings, Film, Sculpture and Photography, which explored the Implicate Ordered Luna realms of the Dream lined with Silver. Wherever he went, he stood out through clothing, coiffure and Explicate Ordered Golden behaviour, supporting a moustache that was itself a work of Art. If that did not cause Macrocosmic worldly spectacle enough, there were other means. In 1936, Dalí took part in the London International Surrealist Exhibition. His Golden lecture entitled “Fantomes Paranoiaques Authentiques” (Authentic Paranoid Ghosts) was delivered while he wore a deep-sea diving suit.

Dali’s paintings are not only Surreal, they are ingenious of inspired Luna Genius. There are his numerous depictions of what is known as soft watches or melting clocks of Binah realm over which presides the planet Saturn; his ingenious method of conveying to the reader that Time is fluid and not fixed fascinates the imagination. The idea was according to some based on his knowledge of Einstein’s theory that Time is relative. However, Dali apparently got the idea when he was staring at a runny piece of Camembert cheese during a Hot ‘Summer’s’ day.

The most famous of these enigmatic images is equally one of his most famous works: “The Persistence of Memory”, which was painted in 1931, depicting melting watches resting amidst an eerily calm Luna landscape within whose dimension, Time is of no relevance. In his painting “The Search for the Fourth Dimension”, the limp clocks are still present, as well geometric shapes and figures; such as a Pentagram somehow emerging amidst a cliff face from out of the Fifth dimension, for one can only observe the flow of Time from the dimension above it whereby one has the Sixth dimension of Tiphareth and the Ninth dimension of Yesod. The Pentagram is repeated elsewhere when Dali works his version of the Last Supper into this geometric shape. There is “The Temptation of Saint Anthony”, in which he has used imagery from Bernini’s famous Elephant sculpture in Rome and the Hypnerotomachia Poliphili of an Elephant supporting an obelisk on its back, whose legs Dali has extended in his painting, as if this and the other animals on the canvas appear to walk upon spider leg stilts.

Dali did many Surrealist paintings on the first day of every month and is one of the few Artists who was able to convince his audience that the other world of the Luna Dream is very real of an influencing reality; his prodigious Artistry may have been inspired by his ability to enter into a furious Trance state of Critical Paranoia Method; it may be because he never hid the fact that he was an avid drug taker, and before meeting the love of his life, his Binah wife Gala, whom he considered to be his Babalon Muse, he had also made it known that he considered himself to be “the Great Masturbator”.

Impress that special Surrealist Girl in your life: “As a young man, (Salvador Dali) was totally asexual, and forever making fun of friends who fell in love or ran after women – until the day he lost his virginity to Gala & wrote me a 6-page letter detailing, in his own inimitable way, the pleasures of carnal love. (Gala’s the only woman he ever really made love to. Dali had a genuine interest in the Mind and the Occult Arts. His interest in the enigma of the Mind brought him into contact with Sigmund Freud. The meetings occurred in 1938, when Freud was ailing in his London residence. Dali would draw numerous portraits of the father of psychiatry. Later, Dali designed the superb Dream sequence in Alfred Hitchcock’s “Spellbound”, which heavily delves into Psychoanalysis. But Dali was more akin to Jung than Freud, for Dali was far more open to an Archetypal reality whereupon Dali created a bespoke Tarot card deck; whereby authors such as Roger Michel Erasmy had no qualms in describing Dali as a visionary Artist let alone to see him as a Shaman.

Though his masterpieces are well-known, what they mean is less known, if only because Dali is seen as a man who painted for money whereby most do not perceive the deeper layers of symbolic meaning within his work. There is a most obvious esoteric dimension to Dali; for example, following a visit in September 1963 to Perpignan, Dalí declared the city’s railway station to be the centre of the Universe, saying that he always got his best ideas while sitting in the waiting room. He followed that up some years later by declaring that the Iberian Peninsula rotated precisely at Perpignan station 132 million years ago. Above the station at Perpignan is a monument in Dali’s honour, and across the surface of one of the main platforms is painted, in big letters, «Perpignan centre du monde» (French for "Perpignan centre of the world. Well, who knows; it could have been at one time to thereby find an ancient Pagan Site under all that concrete winding back to the Palaeolithic, since one has some very interesting painted caves in France!")

Art critics and cynics often accept that for Dali it was indeed the centre of his own Universe for it was from the station that he shipped most of his paintings to their buyers. But there was more to it than that. Dali stated that he had a profound Vision while inside the station of Perpignan, “I had an example of a cosmogonic ecstasy, more powerful than the preceding ones. I had a precise vision of the constitution of the Universe.” And for Dali, that was the real reason why he saw the station as the centre of the Universe, however bizarre that may sound to anyone who has ever visited the unimpressive station of Perpignan let alone for Dali to have discerned the nature of Time from a melting piece of Camembert cheese.
The Vision from 1963 was followed by a painting of the Station of Perpignan, one of his masterpieces, which went on display on December 18, 1965, in New York. In the invitation sent out for the opening night of the exhibition, Dali repeated his claim that the station would be the location from where the Universe would start to converge.

This invariably led to the curious incident of the French news media who were the first to pick up on the Coincidences between Dali’s Perpignan Prophecy and paintings in regards to the murders in Perpignan of 19-year-old Moktaria Chaib, found in December 1997 with her face to the ground and both breasts cut away, and 22-year-old Marie-Helene Gonzalez, discovered six months later with some of her internal organs placed in a box and head and hands missing, and the subsequent disappearance of 17-year-old Tatiana Andujar.

Of course the mundane media at the time made a big thing out of Dali’s Surrealist statement: "I like it, le murder, because this is courage," Dali told Victor Bockris in a 1974 interview. He was talking about murder in general, of course:

"It is anti-bourgeois. Le murder is closer to heaven, because after becoming rrrremords de conscience (remorseful), one prays, one opens le sky, and le angels say, ‘Good morning!"

Stephen Bourgoin, dubbed by the press France’s leading expert on multiple murders, discounted any link with Dali, but he put the case this way: “Dali has done his work of Art. Now the serial killer of Perpignan is doing his gruesome work of Art.”

One could say that a psychopathic murderer was angry about the feminine influence of Binah birthing all form should one look at it from a Jungian perspective while Freud would say that said murderer was pissed off at his Mother; however, the murder at the railway station is a mere red herring in the great Dali saga. Far more intriguing is the matter of Europe’s abduction, the imminent catastrophe, and the mystery of the abandoned village of Perillos.

Dali’s pronouncements about the centre of the Universe and the continent’s coming destruction were not about to be left alone, and several writers have carried the ball to roll on collecting moss from there to tie in Dali’s Prophecies with Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code, the Saunière, Rennes-le-Château and the Priory of Sion of Occult inclined Illuminati Conspiracies whereby Dali’s Surrealist Prophecy has entered the Surreal realm of Conspiracy theories to be seen by many as being quite literal.

It was via such enigmatic statements of Prophecy that Dali came to the attention of the writer Roger Michel Erasmy, who began to explore Dali’s strange world of hyper-real Luna hallucinations, an area where few had dared to go before. Specifically, Erasmy focused on Dali’s later years, when Dali was generally considered as being “just mad” or that of suffering from an information overload of a burn-out. Was the Star-Gate of Pentagram into the Luna realm of Ninth Dimensional Yesod wide open and was Dali unable to regulate it?

Dali’s Babalon wife of a Binah Muse Gala had died on June 10, 1982, which broke Dali’s Tiphareth Heart of the Sun to go into Leaden mourning shadow. Shortly afterwards, Dali deliberately dehydrated himself, which was possibly that of an attempt to put himself into a state of suspended animation, for he had read that some micro-organisms achieve such a state by a similar process. The public perception of Dali as a Madman was augmented in 1984, when he apparently tried to commit suicide by setting his bed on Fire. In his work, the theme of an enveloping catastrophe came ever more to the forefront. There is also Dali’s enigmatic “catastrophic writing”, written in a booklet on September 16, 1982, while he was at his castle Pubol.

His final “Prophetic testament” was dictated to Antonio Pixtot, his most if perhaps only trusted ally at the time, on October 31, 1983; it contained catastrophic revelations, that were centred around four pillared hallucinations of Elephantine feet, which Dali had experienced, apparently after the death of Gala, at the end of 1982. In Dali’s hallucinations, the French Mathematician René Thom appeared like that of an imposing obelisk. Though Dali had only ever met the Mathematician once; while Dali was experiencing his Luna Visions, spectral Thom apparently convinced Dali of an upcoming catastrophe. Intriguingly, Dali stated that the centre of this catastrophe, which he linked with the disappearance, or abduction, of Europe, would begin between Salses and Narbonne, not too far from the station of Perpignan, which he had previously identified as the centre of the Universe.

Dali drew the “Enlevement topologique d’Europe. Hommage à René Thom.” (Topological Abduction of Europe – Homage to René Thom) in 1983; It is one of his lesser known paintings, since most consider it as being nothing more than the desperate attempts of a man who is losing his sanity, having already lost the ability to portray his thoughts via wonderful compositions on gigantic canvases.

At first sight of Mundane perspective, there is little to suggest that the Cannibalistic Art critics have gotten it wrong. Erasmy, however, thought there might be more to this painting. Firstly, the name sits clearly within his series of Visions, which Dali had experienced. Secondly, the painting, in the bottom left corner, has a specific reference to René Thom, including a series of intriguing mathematical symbols.

The rest of the painting appears to be nothing more than two lines, against a grey background, and a cross. As Dali had stated that the abduction of Europe, the topic of the painting, would begin between Salses and Narbonne. Erasmy had noted the similarity between the route of the A9/E15 motorway, between Salses and Narbonne, and the line to the right of the painting. The resemblance is indeed remarkable, however coincidental it may be. Still, the smaller, lighter, line to the left coincides with a part of a smaller, yet important secondary road, the D611, between Tuchan and Durban-Corbières. The similarity between the A9/E15 and D611 and the painting is so stunning that Erasmy asked Pixtot whether Dali had painted the painting with a map in hand. Pixtot stated that he was present throughout and that Dali had not used a map at all for reference but at the same time noted that the similarity was indeed stunning, if only because in his hallucinations, Dali had stated that “the spot” where Europe would be “abducted” was to be between Salses and Narbonne.

As outrageous and mad as these claims may appear; Dali’s obsession with the centre of the Universe was genuine. Should one take such a perception seriously Dali’s conception of the Macrocosmic Universe is that of a Sphere. Dali was well aware of Einstein’s discoveries on the laws of Physics and was specifically fascinated with Quantum mechanics and how this would change our understanding of the Universe, whose cosmological shape is now perceived to be that of a Dodecahedron Sphere. In 1958, Dali wrote in his "Anti-Matter Manifesto": "In the Surrealist period I wanted to create the iconography of the interior world and the world of the marvellous, of my father Freud. Today the exterior world and that of physics, has transcended the one of psychology. My father today is Dr. Heisenberg" (Dr Heisenberg who created the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.) Dali was able to see the connection between Quantum Physics and the Mind and how it will supersede Psychology, whereupon Dali was decades ahead of his Time. More specifically, he not only understood, but he was able to conceptualise this understanding within his Microcosmic Surreal Luna world, which he manifested onto his Macrocosmic canvases to make Golden.

This makes Dali a Visionary. Was Dali also an Alchemist and a Sorcerer, of course he was, for Sorcery and Art are one and the same entity; Dali on one occasion had met up with the Psychic celebrity Uri Geller in Barcelona for a couple of days. Geller bent a ‘Gold’ fork in Dali’s hand; Dali then took off to a room within his house, whereby he then locked himself in for hours. For some such would be obvious evidence of his Madness. However, when Dali later emerged from out of his room, he was holding a rock crystal Sphere in his hand, which was his gift to Geller; Dali’s crystal Sphere now sits proudly on the hood of Geller’s Cadillac, which is coated in bent spoons.

It just so happens that the Physicists are seeking to warp the very fabric of Space like that of Dali’s Golden spoon bent all out of shape by Geller and thence to control Time to make as a melting clock by conducting experiments at CERN’s giant Hadron Collider of an Ouroboros ring in order to discover the God particle at the centre of the encircled Universe of a Dodecahedron Sphere. However a French physicist with the European Atomic research centre of CERN near Geneva was charged with terrorism offences back in 2009 by a Paris judge after investigators said that he had offered to work with the North African branch of al-Qaeda. Police in the Isere region of France made no immediate comment on reports of the arrest at the time. The French Physicist Adlène Hicheur, 32, who is of Algerian origin, was arrested with his younger brother after intelligence agents intercepted his alleged internet contacts with al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb.

The Physicist, who had worked at the giant Atomic Collider at CERN (European Organisation for Nuclear Research), which straddles Swiss and French territory, told the Islamic group that he was interested in committing an attack but had not begun any material preparation, according to police sources. He had acknowledged contacting the militant organisation, they said. The brother was released without charge. Judge Christophe Teissier, of the anti-terrorist branch, ordered the French internal security service, the DCRI, to open an investigation into the possible offence of “association with criminals in relation with a terrorist enterprise”. Judge Teissier placed the scientist under formal investigation and ordered his detention.

The arrest raised the possibility that Islamist militants could be seeking nuclear weapons technology to perhaps ship though Dali’s centre of the Universe at Perpignan or that of planning to acquire the God particle as well as attacking nuclear targets while to traverse the route of the A9/E15 motorway, between Salses and Narbonne. Dr Hicheur is reported to have worked for the British Government’s Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) in Oxfordshire for about a year in 2005. He was placed under surveillance by French officers after US intelligence services intercepted internet messages, which he had allegedly sent to contacts close to al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (Aqim). However, his arrest sparked off a furious row among France’s anti-terrorist magistrates. Judge Teissier’s critics said that he missed an important opportunity to obtain invaluable information about Aqim networks by moving to detain the suspect at an early stage in his investigation. They said that he should have held off and kept the man under surveillance. Brice Hortefeux, the French Interior Minister, is also being criticised for publicising the arrest.

Detractors say that the publicity will have driven the suspect’s contacts underground. CERN said that Dr Hicheur, one of 7,000 scientists working on the Large Hadron Collider, did not have access to any of the underground facilities and did not handle anything that would interest terrorists. A spokesman described him as highly qualified: “This fellow has a doctorate in particle Physics, so he is clearly an intelligent person,” he said. The scientist also worked as an instructor in experimental physics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. “We are pretty shocked and surprised,” said Jerome Grosse, spokesman for the institute. Residents in the suspect’s home town of Vienne, which is renowned for its superb Goat cheese making situated in Eastern France, said that his success had made him a role model for young Muslims. “They are good boys,” said one neighbour of the suspect and his brother. “They are from a family of six children and from a very moderate Muslim family which is seen as a model of integration.” The suspect’s brother is reported to have graduated from the University of Paris with a degree in Biomechanics. After graduating, the suspect’s brother taught at the 500-year-old Collège de France in Paris, which is one of the country’s most prestigious research institutes. All of this is somewhat reminiscent of the film ‘Twelve-Monkey’s,’ which concerns an engineered viral plague being spread at a Perpignan type ‘train station’ and CERN research soft clock Time travel; no doubt the movie was inspired by Dali’s Prophecies considering it was made by the Surrealist Genius of a film maker Terry Gilliam.

As for CERN one to find Lord Shiva (Siva) who veritably presided over the world’s largest experiment when scientists sent the first beam of protons zooming at nearly the speed of light around the world’s most powerful ’27’-km-long particle accelerator of a scaled up ‘9’ foot diameter Magick Circle in search of the ‘God particle’.

Next to the two metre tall statue of the dancing Shiva or Nataraj (Lord of Yoga) at the European Centre for Research in Particle Physics in Geneva is a plaque, which explains the connection: "It is the clearest image of the activity of God which any art or religion can boast of" … "Hundreds of years ago, Indian Artists created visual images of dancing Shivas in a beautiful series of bronzes. In our time, Physicists have used the most advanced technology to portray the patterns of the cosmic dance. The metaphor of the cosmic dance thus unifies ancient mythology, religious art and modern physics." Shiva may be the lord of destruction in Hindu mythology, but it’s not the end of the world as some predicted about the Big-Bang experiment.

One can say that the Physicists are ones modern equivelant of Magicians, which leads one of Surreal association to an ancient seal that was discovered during the excavation of the ancient site of Mohenjo-daro; the seal has drawn attention to a possible representation of a "proto-Shiva" figure. Mohenjo-daro (Mound of the Dead) was one of the largest city-settlements of the Indus Valley Civilization of South Asia situated in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Built around 2600 BCE, later abandoned around 1500 BCE, the city was one of the early urban settlements in the world, existing at the same time as the civilizations of ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, and Crete. The archaeological ruins of the city are designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is sometimes referred to as "An Ancient Indus Valley Metropolis"

Mohenjo-daro was rediscovered in 1922 by Rakhaldas Bandyopadhyay, an officer of the Archaeological Survey of India. He was led to the mound by a Buddhist monk, who believed it to be a stupa. In the 1930s, massive excavations were conducted under the leadership of John Marshall, K. N. Dikshit, Ernest Mackay, and others. John Marshall’s car, which was used by the site directors, is still in the Mohenjo-daro museum, showing their struggle and dedication to Mohenjo-daro. Further excavations were carried out in 1945 by Ahmad Hasan Dani and Mortimer Wheeler.

The last major excavation of Mohenjo-daro was conducted in 1964-65 by Dr. G. F. Dales. After this date, excavations were banned due to damage done to the exposed structures by weathering. Since 1965, the only projects allowed at the site have been salvage excavation, surface surveys and conservation projects. Despite the ban on major Archaeological projects, in the 1980s, teams of German and Italian survey groups, led by Dr. Michael Jansen and Dr. Maurizio Tosi, combined techniques such as architectural documentation, surface surveys, surface scraping and probing, to determine further clues about the ancient civilization.

The Mohenjo-daro proto-Shiva looks very much akin to what is known as the Horned Kernun or CERN-unnos Celtic deity found on the Gundestrup cauldron, which is a richly-decorated silver vessel, thought to date to the 1st century BC, placing it into the late La Tène period. The cauldron was found in 1891 in a peat bog near the hamlet of Gundestrup, in the Aars parish in Himmerland, Denmark. The cauldron is now housed at the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen. The Gundestrup cauldron is the largest known example of European Iron Age silver work (diameter 69 cm, height 42 cm). The style and workmanship suggest Thracian origin, while the imagery seems to be Celtic. This has opened room for a number of conflicting theories of Thracian vs. Gaulish origin of the cauldron. Others have suggested a Thracian origin with clear and most undeniable obvious influences of ancient Hindu iconography.

The Mohenjo-daro Pashupati (Lord of animal-like beings) seal shows a seated figure, possibly ithyphallic, surrounded by animals just like the Cernnunos figure on the Gundestrup cauldron. Sir John Marshall and others have claimed that this figure is a prototype of Shiva and have described the figure as having three faces seated in a classic "Yoga posture" with the knees out and feet joined from whose brow sprouts three Horns or that of a head-dress in between the Horns. Although, this claim to a proto Shiva is not without its share of critics, with some academics like Gavin Flood and John Keay characterizing them as being unfounded.

However, one also has the Palaeolithic forerunner of a Horned Shiva let alone being the prototype of Lucifuge Rofocale called the Sorcerer, which is a name for an enigmatic cave painting found in the cavern known as ‘The Sanctuary’ at Trois-Frères, Ariège, France, which is not too far away from Salses and Narbonne let alone Perpignan as the Crow flies. The figure’s significance is unknown, but it is usually interpreted as some kind of Great Spirit or Master of the Animals like that of a Pashupati of a Cernunnos. The unusual nature of The Sanctuary’s decoration may also reflect the practice of Magickal ceremonies within the chamber. In his sketches of the cave Art, Henri Breuil drew a Horned humanoid torso and the publication of this drawing in the 1920’s influenced many subsequent theories about the figure. However, Breuil’s sketch has also come under criticism in recent years.

Henri Breuil asserted that the cave painting represented a Shaman or Magician, an interpretation which gives the image its name, and described the image he drew in these terms. Margaret Murray having seen the published drawing called Breuil’s image ‘the first depiction of a deity on earth’, an idea which Breuil and others later adopted.

His views held sway in the field for much of the 20th century, but they have since been largely superseded. Breuil’s image has been commonly interpreted as a Shaman performing a ritual to ensure good hunting. Certain modern scholars question the validity of Breuil’s sketch, claiming that modern photographs do not depict the famous (Reindeer) antlers. Ronald Hutton theorized that Breuil was fitting the evidence to support his hunting-magic theory of cave-art, citing that "the figure drawn by Breuil is not the same as the one actually painted on the cave wall." Hutton’s theory led him to conclude that reliance on Bruiel’s initial sketch resulted in many later scholars erroneously claiming that "The Sorcerer" was evidence that the concept of a Horned God dating back to Palaeolithic times. Likewise, Peter Ucko concluded that inaccuracies in the drawing were caused by Breuil’s working in dim gas-light, in awkward circumstances, and that he had mistaken cracks in the rock surface for man-made marks. However, these views have also been questioned, noting that "The Sorcerer" is composed of both charcoal drawings and etching within the stone itself, which is a common practice of Cave Art in order to emphasise the formation of the rock its self to become part of the painting, which Dali would consider being that of a Critical Paranoia method. Details, such as etching, are often difficult to view from photographs due to their size and the quality of the light source and those interpreting the image are usually not professional Artists.

The general assessment has placed the figure as central to an understanding of cave Art: as S. G. F. Brandon expressed it in 1959, "it seems to be generally agreed that this picture of the ‘Dancing Sorcerer’ was a cult object of great significance to the community which used the cave."

It is common knowledge that most Shamans from one culture to another through Time often wear Horns of office, whether they are of Reindeer antlers, Stag, Bull and Buffalo Horns or that of a Goat. The ancient seal found at the excavation of Mohenjo-daro clearly depicts a human wearing Horns; while the prior Palaeolithic cave Art at Trois-Frères, Ariège, France is considered to be an indication when Humanity became truly Human of evolutionary leap, which was initiated by the Shaman whom wore Horns to Trance dance into Visions and Dreams to thereby paint them of materialisation upon the cave walls.

Art is Sorcery, Sorcery is Art, both the same indivisible from the other; only an Artist can understand the formula when to focus upon a work of Art whose imagery enters into the Subconscious stirring Dreams into becoming Lucid of Awareness whereby the Artist attains a state of Amphibious Consciousness. It is this understanding, which fuelled the cave Art of the Palaeolithic whose Artists were Shamans wearing Horns of office for the Horns represent the waking and Dreaming realms of the Sun and Moon whence one has Gold and Silver of Lucifuge Rofocale coinage whose gifted treasure is the third state of Horn betwixt and between of Amphibious Consciousness.

Salvador Dali was one of the few Artists who had accessed what the majority had lost who have since become Blind to the Dream whereby he was as a Singular Eyed King within the kingdom of the Blind; but through his Art those who are Blind got a glimpse of the Dream, which ones Ancestors explored through their Art that led of evolutionary steps towards CERN of an Ouroboros ring of Magick Circle being wrought in order to Evoke the God Particle into manifestation amidst a Triangle of Art.

Lucifuge Rofocale teaches the Sorcerer that his Dreams are of a Feminine source because of the Bio-Photon, which emanates from amidst ones Mitochondrial DNA. Each Dream has a certain quailty of energy for ones Dreams are suffused with the Light of the Bio-Photon, which is governed over by a Governess of a Succubus whom weaves an Informational Associative Fractal Pattern of a Dream domain when Spun by the Emotive Charge of the Sorcerer. These Succubae were once immortalised as the Palaeolithic Venus figurines whose Mitochondrial Bio-Photon Intelligence was tapped into by the Horned Sorcerer via his Dreams. The Dream reflects back the Self-Image of the Sorcerer whereby the Sorcerer can tune into Dreams of his choice when to assume Alternate Personas, which are Magickally constructed Guises, and to each Guise is an associated Succubus whom empowers its Mask. The numerous Succubae are seen to be in Sexual union with the Sorcerer’s Alternate Personas whereby the Succubae are his Spirit-Wives, but he has to first sublimate them to his will to thereby attain total dominion over them otherwise they will verily tear his Mind apart, which will negate him ever achieving Lucidity within the Dream. The Sorcerer seeks to emulate Lucifuge Rofocale whom is the Lord of the Succubae, hence he assumes Rofocale’s guise in order to attain Mastery over the Succubae and thereby becoming a Master of his Microcosmic Quantum Dreams, which underlie the Macrocosmic Material realm, for everything is made of Light. This being the Treasure, which Lucifuge Rofocale bestows should the Sorcerer not neglect his Sorcery practice, which be indivisible to Art.

Demonology-Demons and there ranks in Hell

The Daemons are, the Daemons were, and the Daemons shall be again. They come, and we are here: They sleep , and we watch for them. They shall sleep, and we shall die, but we shall return through them, we are their dreams, and they shall awaken. Hail to the ancient dreams.

The names of Daemons and Devils of past ages were revered at one point in time as the dark muses that influenced the arts of Divination, Sorcery, Theurgy, and other various dark traditions of humanity. In the Hellenic culture they celebrated ritual toasting unto "Agathos Daemon" Which translates to "Here’s Luck". In later Xtoid doctrine these Daemons became the core root of what they termed evil. In fact, the Catholics created their own system of Demonology so they could better identify what Daemon was responsible for a certain attribute of "sin". In the true nature of Daemons they are the archetypes of a universal pool that exists within the great darkness of the nine angles, and the Trapezoid. Beware, for the Daemons travel the curved dimensions of time and space, knowing no boundaries. The mad blind one Azag Thoth calls forth the ancient ones of a forgotten past to come forth again and ride upon the hot winds of hell calling insane berserkers that haunt the night of man.
Now it is safe to call upon the names once more as we enter unto the age ov Apeiron and the Boundless All. Whether you see the Daemons as external beings or abstract projections of our subconscious matters not. The Magi can find great influence by tapping into the hidden archetypes of our own existence to produce the greater will of desire upon a world truly without.
To work with these ancient forces one must first research who they are. Find one that represents your desire, and study how they were worshiped and appeased. Begin to develop a oneness with who and what it represents. Then, when you feel the time is right, and you will…create a Sigil that represents the Daemon and call it forth using an invocation of your choice. If you are sincere and the Black Flame within burns forever bright the Daemon will seek you out by manifesting that which you seek and yearn for.
It is said that the most feared Demons are the one’s that are hidden within the self. Be careful what you unleash.

Ancient Grimoires
Grimoires are Ancient text manuscripts used in High Magick and the Black Arts to conjure Demonic, Celestial, Olympic and Angelic beings. They provide the Magician with the sigils or seals of each Diety and a description of how they will appear in form and what tasks they can do for your bidding. Some of these are purely systems of Magick. Some of these books can be easily found on Ebay or Amazon. But some are very hard to find and are not in print anymore. This is where you will have to search for quite some time to find a seller. I myself collect antique versions of these books… so I have old copies and new copies of the same books. Many of them are very confusing and useless books to the newbe in magick… but for the experienced Magician, they are a great asset. Why Spells work sometimes and sometimes not…

Oh yes… I get so many letters asking why didn’t this spell work for me? Or is this stuff real? ( I hate that one the worst! ) Or how long is it going to take for it to work? Here I will try to answer those questions to clear the air so that maybe you will read this and I won’t have to answer more e-mails by the hundreds.

Why do spells work and sometimes they don’t work? There are many things that contribute to a spell or ritual work properly and not one thing alone. All of the following combined together is what will make a Spell, Hex or Curse work and work good.

 

• The proper Moon phase
• The proper Planetary Hour and Day
• The proper materials and supplies
• The mental condition of the Practitioner
• The will of the Universe
• The experience of the practitioner
• The Magical Energy built up by the Practitioner
• Your belief in the magic you are working
• The proper Spell

1. The Moon phase… The proper Moon phase is one of the keys to success in Spell casting. There are many Spells that I do on the night of the Full Moon for maximum effect and potency just as farmers may plant there seedlings during the Full Moon. The Moon effects everything and can effect our moods and actions. Ever notice that people seem to be more wound up and crazy during the Full Moon? I see it all the time.
There are four phases of the Moon…  New Moon, Waxing Moon, Full Moon and the Waning Moon. Each of these phases has a 7 day period for doing your Magical workings. If you add these phases up, you come up with the 28 day lunar month. The time period for each phase is… 3 days before to 3 days after. This gives you plenty of time to plan and do you Spell casting. Not everyone can plan on doing Magic on one certain day, so this opens the window of opportunity for those of you who have a busy schedule.
Here is what the different phases are normally used for in Magic.

New Moon – This phase is very similar to the Waning Moon and used to rid ones self of things.

Waxing Moon – This phase is for doing Spells that might increase your gain such as money, power or other material things.

Full Moon – This the phase where I do my most important spells. For my beliefs are that my Magic is much more powerful during this phase. Most people like my friends only consider the Full Moon the actual day that it is the fullest and marked on the calendar. They do not know that the Moon has the same influence for a seven day period. Once again I personally prefer to work on the night of the Full Moon, at its fullest.

Waning Moon – This phase is normally for Spells that do away with things or make things go away. Such as making an enemy go away or a bad spirit or slander along with many other things.

2. The proper materials and supplies… These are so very important, for one must have all the proper things needed for a spell. You may possibly need herbs, colored candles, Voodoo Dolls, oils and of coarse the proper spell. The herbs, colored candles and oils are specific ones that are associated with that type of spell. In other words they have a vibration that is related to the what you are trying to accomplish. For instance if you are doing a love spell you would not want to use green candles… you would want to use red candles and if you were doing a money spell you would not want to use red candles… you would use green. For Candles you can go to my Candle Magic page to see what color corresponds to what need. For oils and herbs there are many other sites out there and books that will tell you what what corresponds to what. For Voodoo Dolls you can make you own out of wax or cloth material.  It doesn’t have to look like the victim because you are going to visualize it as being the victim. There may be a need for a Dagger to trace magical symbols in the air. Daggers can be purchased online quite easily. If you cannot find the supplies you need in your town the I suggest you look online at Avatar Search.

3. The mental condition of the Practitioner… This is also very important. You must be in the right state of mind. If you are trying to do a love spell, you must have the emotion of love for that person to project out into the universe in order for it to manifest. In other words you cannot be angry or depressed when doing the love spell. The same goes for Black Magic Hexes and so forth… you must be worked up into rage or a very hate filled mood to project hate at the Victim. You cannot expect a Hex to work on someone if you are in a Jolly mood when performing the spell. Your mind must be in sync with the type of Spell you are doing. Plus you must believe in your work and not have doubts. How can you expect a spell to work if you don’t believe in them but you want to try them just to see if they do work. You will get nothing from that.

4. The will of the Universe… Many of you ask … well how long will it take to work? That is up to the Universe as to when it will manifest. It could be a couple days or it could take weeks or a couple months. There have been many times I have done spells an had no quick results and then POOF!  Two months later it happens! I had almost forget about it. So be patient and have faith in your workings. Positive thinking = positive outcome.

5. The experience of the Practitioner… The person casting the spells should have some experience or at least some good study and practice. Many of you out there, especially the younger ones expect that you can do a spell for the first time with no knowledge of how they work or why and have studied the Occult none whatsoever. I strongly advise you to study all aspects of the Occult and practice, practice, practice. Dabblers will get no where except hurt. Remember the more you practice Magic and do certain Rituals the more you will build up your powers and therefore be more potent in your spells.

6. The Magical Energy built up by the Practitioner… This is one way to add potency to your Spells and Hexes. I am a Sorcerer and not a Witch so I will tell you what I do. I use the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram and the Middle Pillar Ritual. They serve to protect me and they build up my Aura and my Psychic and Magical powers. This covers all my grounds when doing Spells and makes me glow with power! I know there are many different Rituals out there according to what you believe in so find the ones that suite your beliefs and get to work on them everyday of your life and you will see a difference in the quality of your life and the potency of youR Magical doings.

7. Your belief in the magic you are working… You must believe in your magical workings. If you don’t, how can you expect them to work. You must have faith, be patient and you must believe! So many of you want to try some spells first to see if they work and then you’ll decide to believe. That’s not the way to do it! If you do not believe in the Occult and Magic… then I suggest you stay away from it. Word to the wise… Magic is not a game or something to just Dabble in or play with. Magic is a way of life.

8. The proper Spell… Let’s face it… you must have a good spell. Some of the spells out there are pure crap and some are really good. Some spells may work better for you than others, so experiment and keep a journal of your workings so that you will know which ones work best for you and which ones don’t. Also just because a spell doesn’t work for you doesn’t mean that it is no good… you may have not been the right state of mind or maybe you didn’t have the proper materials. All the above things on this page come into play. So like I said… keep a journal and find the Spells that work for you!

Fire Magic has been around for centuries. Here exposed to you now is the Art of Magic and Fire! Fire magic can used for White or Black Magic, but don’t get burned! This type of magic is best done outdoors to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning, or burning your house down. Please take extreme caution when doing these rituals! This is not for children or minors!

To obtain love from a specific person…

At night time light a small fire in a cauldron or what ever you have available to contain the fire. Cut out a piece of paper that is 3 inches by 3 inches. Draw a heart on it and color it in with red. Write the name of the name of the person that you desire on the heart. While doing all this be thinking of this person being attracted to you and not being able to resist you! Think of his his or her heart burning with desire for you just like the flames of the fire. Then kiss the name on the heart 3 times. Place the paper in the fire while saying these words 3 times. Do so with utmost sincerity…

"Fire come from below,
         bring me love that I do know,
          make my heart blaze and shine,
           to bring the love that will be mine!"
             Soon my love will come a day,
              three times strong and here to stay!"
           "SO MOTE IT BE!"

Stay and meditate on the spell you just did, seeing it come true! After you are finished concentrating for a few minutes, extinguish the fire. Soon your love will come to you!

To make Bad Luck go away…

At night time light a small fire in a cauldron or what ever you have available to contain the fire. Write on a piece of paper that is 3 inches x 3 inches, the words BAD LUCK. Then write down any bad things you do not like in your life right now. Then draw a big X across the paper with a black marker. While doing this you should be thinking of how all these things are going to disappear from your life, never to return!  Place the paper in the fire and repeat the following words 3 times…

"Fire, fire burning bright
             turn my darkness into light!
            Take away my bad luck ill,
                bring me nothing but goodwill.
                 Bad luck came and stayed to long,
                 be gone forever, be gone, be gone!
             With this fire burning bright,
                  bring me good luck, bring me light!"
            "SO MOTE IT BE!"

After repeating these words 3 times, sit for a few minutes and concentrate on the bad luck being gone and the good luck coming your way! When you are done extinguish the fire.

To stop Slander or Gossip…

At night time light a small fire in a cauldron or what ever you have available to contain the fire. Write on a piece of paper that is 3 inches x 3 inches, the word Rumors and the rumors that are being spread about you. Do not write the names of those who are slandering you! You do not want to harm them and suffer the consequences with karma!  Be thinking of these lies going away never to return as you draw an X with a dark marker across the paper. Toss the paper into the fire and repeat the following words 3 times…

"Rumors, slander standing stout,
           with this X,  I cross you out
               I toss their words into the fire,
              all these lies no longer hire
              All bad things done and said,
              leave my life, be gone be dead!
             All the evil that they say,
        make it all go away!
              Rumors carry me no more,
             be gone be dead, be no more!"
          "SO MOTE IT BE!"

Sit and concentrate on all the bad gossip going away for a few minutes, then extinguish the fire!

Magickal Potions….
Also known as a Philtre…. a form of a Magickal Charm… a concoction of herbs and and extracts of or excretions of animals including animal parts.
More intense forms of this practice were used in Alchemy.
Sorcerers, Witches, Evil and Good doers of the Occult Arts engaging in the art of Magickal Potions.
Intended use being to cause Love or Lust of one they desire, or perhaps make one fall asleep or maybe even bring the end to ones life. One can easily visualize the Being standing by the Cauldron mixing away the brew to is soon to slew.
We have seen it all in the movies over exaggerated by the ugly as hell Witch. But is has been quite a common practice among those whom truly dwell in the Occult Arts and wish to manipulate others for their own devilish reasons.
So for some it may be a poison for the soul and drink of Death and for others the magical sexual potion to meet our Lustful Desires. For me the Magickal Potion is Red Bull or Monster Energy Drinks. For me it has changed my life in new ways. For in the morning it is the way to bring the dead back to life. Then again when Night Time falls…. Red Bull and Yegermiester brings out the Beast in me.
Any type of mixture that can alter your life or vision can be considered a potion.
I myself mix potions in the candles I make to give them the Magick they need. Here are some of Magical Potions 4 you.

 Add 2 tablespoons of this mix to 2 ounces of oil.

Potion to Make you Stop Loving Someone

Ingredients: ginger, cinamon, salt, pepper, lemon, water and rose petals. Now here’s the tools you will need: black candle, something to light the candle with, spoon to stir with and a rock and cup. Now light the candle and say one time: dark sides make me stop loving this man/woman Name(say full name).Then Take all of the ingredients and put into the cup but before drinking say this 3 times: With this potion I banish my feelings for (say his/her full name) Forever. Now drink the potion.Then Put the rock at the foot of your bed (that will turn your love for him/her feelings into hatered). Now the spell is done, but it only works for some people and there’s no guarantee that it will work for everyone.

Prepare your altar, light the incense and candle. Grind the herbs in your mortar and pestle (If you

have used it for grinding poisonous herbs, then either buy a new one for cooking, or use a food

processor ), charge the herbs for your magical purpose. Put enough wine in the saucepan, simmer,

then add herbs slowly. As you do it, feel your intention for love, stir in herbs, keeping your focus.

For best results, do on the waxing of the moon and chose herbs that suit your taste. Some herbs

and spices do have a very strong taste.

War Water

<> War Water is Iron Rust in water along with other ingredients that are added according to the desires of the Spellcaster. Mars… <>the Roman God was the God of War and his metal was Iron.

Additional ingredients included in War Water to make it stronger are magnetic sand and a rusty nail or coffin nail. Spanish moss provides the proper darkness to the rust color of the mix and gives an appropriate "swamp water" scent when you break the bottle open. To strengthen War Water add nails from specific locations such as a hospital, to cause injury; a court house, to make someone lose a court case, a jail, to get someone arrested, the person’s job site, to make them get fired.

This is a simple way to Consecrate and Charge a Amulet or Talisman. Yes, there are other ways that are much more detailed and complicated where one specifies a certain day and planetary hour along with the Celestial beings that belong to that planetary hour. One can use certain metals which also correspond to the energies they invoke and the list of details get longer.

Here we are going to teach you the easier way.

What is an Amulet or Talisman?

It is a piece of Jewelry or a trinket that is used to protect one or attract that which one desires such as love, money or whatever it may be.

What is the difference between a Amulet and a Talisman?

The Amulets are charged when the moon is Waning and Talismans are charged when the moon is Waxing.

Also…. who or what is Tetragrammaton? (which is used in this ritual)

The unspeakable personal name of God: YHVH (Yahweh or Jehovah), the Tetragrammaton.

Light some incense as an offering to God.

Place the Amulet or Talisman upon the altar Pentacle.

Replace the word Amulet with Talisman if that is what you are consecrating and charging. You can also replace the name of God with a name you prefer, if you so choose.

Sprinkle the Amulet with salt.

"I consecrate you with the element of Earth."

Pass the Amulet through the incense.

"I consecrate you with the element of Air."

Pass the Amulet through candle flame.

"I consecrate you with the element of Fire."

Sprinkle the Amulet with water.

"I consecrate you with the element of Water."

Pick up the Amulet, and hold it up high for God to behold.

"You are now consecrated in the name of the Tetragrammaton"

Place Amulet back on altar Pentacle.

Place hands over the Amulet.

Visualize a Brilliant light from above pouring into the Amulet.

"I charge this Amulet to serve as (name that which you desire its purpose to serve)

for I [your name or magickal name] a servant of God Almighty."

The Magic Circle…. a Consecrated Circle in which Great feats of Magical Operations are performed.

It is a Sacred space set aside for Ceremonies and Rituals of High Magic.

I am not going to go into major detail here… I am going to give you just the basics for your Curiosity.

Within the circle one can transcend the physical world and take the mind to deeper and higher levels of consciousness. It acts as a protection barrier from all Evil and unwanted Entities. From within this Magical Circle the Magician can Invoke and or conjure up any Demon or Angelic being that is desired for their bidding. Now take note that the Entities are conjured to appear outside of the circle and into the Triangle of the Solomon (Triangle of the Art). The Magic Circle is for the Magician to stand in along with those who might wish to witness a Magical operation as such. The Circle must always be cleansed and Consecrated to make it a Sacred Protection barrier.

There are many different Magic Circles that have been found throughout time from many different Grimoires. Most all have Sacred names of God and symbols that are inscribed all around the inside border of the Circle. By looking at the different Circles you will see that some have many many names that are hard to read….. these Circles would be impossible to make because if you can’t read it… then you can’t be sure you have the right names and this will serve as no protection.

You will see that there are also ones that are much easier to read and comprehend…. a much wiser choice.

Which Circle is the best?… that is for you the Magician to decide. I myself prefer one of my own making that contains names of God that I am used to invoking for protection…. not too intricate and not too simple. It must be right for you… for all your energy will be built up within this circle.

Now many of you whom think you know it all may want to write me and tell me that they have to be certain colors and so forth… I say Bullshit. What I am telling you comes from trial and error…. that is Experience. A Magic circle can be drawn in the sand or carved in concrete or painted on fabric. If they are painted on a surface they are usually in Black and White. All these methods of using a Magic Circle have worked for many famous Magicians/ Sorcerers for decades. If Aleister Crowley were alive today he would tell you the same.

The Mysterious Pentagram…

The Pentagram means different things to different people. Some may argue as to what it represents, but I will tell you the real meanings of it. The Pentagram right side up represents God ruling over the world of matter. The 5 points represent the 5 places that Christ was wounded. This is why Devils are afraid of it!  It also represents the Microcosmic man with his arms stretched out.

Let us not forget that it also represents the elements Spirit, Water, Air, Earth, and Fire as shown below.

This is used by most people in Witchcraft.

Now there is also the upside-down Pentagram. It represents Satan or the world of matter ruling over God. It is the same as denouncing God.  To wear it is to attract evil around you. It will not bring good spirits around you. Normally it is only worn by Satanists or devil worshipers.  So if you wish to attract good spirits around you… wear it right side up!

Here we have an example of both the right side up and the reversed Pentagram…

Many mainstream religion believers think that they are both evil and represent the Devil. But that is because they are so… ignorant and blind to the fact that there is a difference. It shows their lack of study on the true facts of history. I wear the right side up Pentagram and I personally have had many people come up to me and ask me if I am a Devil worshiper!  This really pisses me off! But I explain the reality to them.

Now it is time to teach you a very important and powerful Ritual called the

Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram…

This ritual will surround and protect you with the power of the Almighty aspects of God and his Archangels. This ritual should be done every day in the morning and at the end of the day. Try not to do it right before bed , because it will energize you to where you won’t be able to go to sleep. This ritual is exactly what it says… it banishes all spirits or influences good or bad that may be around you. It gives you an open channel to God with no interference!  When you do this you are in the presence of God! So treat it with respect. After a period of time you will notice a difference in your life. You will have that Glow! It strengthens your Aura so that you are like a shinning sun. This ritual is also one of the first ones you would do after conjuring a spirit or using the Ouija board.

From the most heavenly of spirits to the monsters of the of the great abyss. These entities can all be summoned  to do your bidding or answer your questions. Take warning to heart. These creatures are very powerful and you could end up doing your self more harm than good.

When a magician gets started he usually performs a couple of standard rituals like

The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, and the Middle Pillar Ritual. These are the most important things he would do in order to protect himself from these Beings. Remember the attitude he gets from a spirit depends on the type of spirit he would so choose to conjure up! There are also several standard items which would be used during the conjuration…

Now we come to the Magical Circle and the Triangle of the Art. I know you can’t make out all the lettering, but this is just to show you the original copy…

Notice in the top of diagram is the Triangle of the Art. This is where the Magician will place the circular Black Mirror, or the Crystal Ball on a stand. Around the triangle are the names Tetragrammaton, Primeumaton, and Anaphaxeton. Inside the Triangle is the name Michael split up.  Below it is the Magical Circle in which the Magician will stand. It has many sacred names of God written around the inside border. In the middle of the circle are the names Alpha and Omega, along with 4 hexagrams. As you can see there are 4 pentagrams, one on each corner of the circle. A candle is placed in the middle of each one. The name Tetragrammaton is split up between the five points of each pentagram.

Now we get to the good stuff. If you read all the copies of ancient manuscripts you will see that all the rituals are quite long and complicated. I am going to simplify things for you. You see books like the Key of Solomon, the Grimoire of Armadel, and the Goetia were designed to confuse the ordinary person and discourage them from wanting to attempt these Rituals. This is because the ordinary person attempting these rituals would more than likely become possessed, disease ridden or die. This type of Magical workings is for only the experienced Magician/Sorcerer. Those who think different and want to play with fire, I tell you… You will get burned!

Here is a Magic Circle that can be used. All the lettering can be read easily…

First you need to make sure you have a quiet place to these rituals, where you you will not be disturbed.  Make sure that your alter is set up and all the magical tools are displayed on the alter. You need to light the four white candles and the incense. Make sure you have preselected the entity that so desire to summon up. Also make sure you have his sigil written on parchment. Take a few minutes to relax and meditate. Clear your mind of all unwanted thoughts and worries. Take your dagger and perform the invoking ritual of the pentagram. You can also call upon Archangel Michael to surround and protect your magical circle. If you call him and have faith he will be there protecting you. Now lets move on to the invocation …

The Invocation…

~Warning!~ This is meant to be an example only! It is to show you what you would do if you were experienced in the Arts. If you attempt this… you do so at your own risk! This is strictly for educational purposes only!

    In this example we are going to conjure the Spirit "VAU-AEL". He is the spirit who will give thee all kinds of pleasant visions. He will serve you well in all that you wish to know. This spirit is taken from "the Grimoire of Armadel".

   Take note that we will be conjuring this spirit on to the astral plane and not onto this physical plane. We will be able to see the spirit by gazing into the crystal ball or the black mirror in the Triangle of the Art. Put on your robe and and light the incense and the candles. Sit in the chair that you place in the middle of the magic circle. Here is the sigil of the entity…

Seal of "VAU-AEL"

Holding the Sigil of the spirit in your hands gaze into it and repeat the name of the spirit over and over for at least 10 min. Then gaze into the black mirror (or crystal ball) and concentrate while reciting the following…

I evoke  and conjure thee, O spirit "VAU-AEL" by the Supreme Majesty – the true God who is known by the names of YOD HEH VAV HEH (yode-heh-vahv-heh), ADONAI (ah-doe-ney), EHEIEH (eh-hey-yay), and AGLA (ah-gah-lah) to appear before me in this mirror (or crystal ball) in a fair and comely shape.

Continue to gaze into the mirror until the image of the entity becomes clear to see. When you can see the entity then ask it "what is thy name?" If it gives the correct answer then ask it to sign its name in the space surrounding it. If the spirit turns out to be someone else then you can ask it to leave or ask what its purpose of coming before you. If it is the correct spirit then you must welcome it  by saying…

In peace I welcome you, O spirit "VAU-AEL",and in the name of the Most High I command you to stay within this mirror until you are dismissed, to speak honestly and to answer all questions truthfully that I put before you.

Now you may ask the questions that you wish to put before him. Make sure that you are polite and not rude in any way, for you must treat these spiritual beings with the total respect. You may also command it do do certain tasks for you, but if you ask it to do things that might harm someone then you will at sometime suffer the penalties of KARMA. What goes around comes around. You don’t want to have something bad come around and bite you in the ass now do you? Try to do only good tasks and things of a positive nature! Once you are done with the spirit, you must license him to depart. Take note that you must give this dismissal even if the entity does not show itself, for it could actually be there and you not know it and then you would have a spirit hanging around you which could the end of you!

Here is the dismissal…

Go in peace and return to your sphere of origin, O Spirit "VAU-AEL" by the authority of the True God, I command thee to harm none as you depart, and to be ready to come quickly if called upon again.

*You will also want to do the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram and the Banishing Ritual of the Hexagram! This is a Must!

*This ritual can be used to conjure Celestial, Demonic, Elemental, or Angelic entities to do your bidding.

After you are finished you will want to write down everything that happened in your experience. You need to keep a journal of all these events and what took place.  You will want to memorize these conjuration’s and not have to read them off a card. You will also need to make sure that you pronounce all the sacred names of God correctly in your invocations, and once again do nothing to harm anyone in your magical rites. Even if you are conjuring a demon you can still command them to do good for you. Peace be with you.

Few would deny that you simply cannot achieve health without a well-functioning immune system.

Your immune defenses are key in protecting you from all disease, including cancer, toxic poisons, infections, inflammation, and even aging.

The army of bacteria that occupy the nooks and crannies of your intestine are the “DEFCON 1” of your defense system. There is even evidence that your appendix serves as a virtual military barracks for these critical defenses.

You should have about 85 percent “good” bacteria and 15 percent “bad”, but unfortunately, most people are upside down with that ratio. For this reason, I always recommend a diet rich in cultured or fermented foods, as well as a good quality probiotic supplement to restore your ratio to a healthful balance.

Probiotics have been shown to:

• Modulate your immune response and reduce inflammation
• Digest and absorb certain carbohydrates
• Produce vitamins, absorb minerals, and eliminate toxins

Antibiotics: A Prescription for Trouble

Under the right circumstances, antibiotics are very effective and necessary. That said, I believe they are vastly overused.

About 95 percent of the time, antibiotic prescriptions are totally unnecessary, and can be harmful.

According to Doug Kaufmann, author of The Fungus Link:

“Simply put, antibiotics are poisons that are used to kill … I contend that poisons that kill small organisms in small doses—organism-specific varieties notwithstanding — can also kill big organisms, when they are taken in big doses. You, my friend, are a big organism.

Every time you swallow antibiotics, you kill beneficial bacteria in your intestines, upsetting the delicate balance of your intestinal terrain. This can lead to a syndrome called “Leaky Gut Syndrome” whereby your intestinal wall is damaged, interfering with how your body absorbs nutrients and filters out waste and toxins.

Leaky Gut Syndrome can lead to a whole host of illnesses.

However, taking the antibiotics your physician prescribes is not the ONLY way you are getting them. Antibiotics may be the mystery ingredient in your Chicken Kiev and a common and typically vastly underappreciated way in which you can be exposed to them..

Most Antibiotics in the US Used for Farm Animals

As much as 70 percent of all antibiotics sold in the U. S. are fed to chickens, cattle and hogs — not to treat disease but to make them grow faster. This increases profit margins for livestock producers, but it puts YOUR health at risk.

Animals are fed low doses of antibiotics, killing off some of the animals’ bacteria. Meanwhile, the stronger, more resistant bacteria survive, multiply, and pass on their strength and resistance to future generations.

A report by the Union of Concerned Scientists estimates that 70 percent of antibiotics used in this country are given to animals for growth promotion and other non-medical uses. This negligent practice is largely responsible for the potent strains of antibiotic resistant bacteria we are seeing today.

According to a 2009 University of Iowa study, 70 percent of hogs and 64 percent of workers in industrial animal confinements tested positive for the antibiotic resistant strain of MRSA. The study pointed out that, once MRSA is introduced, it could spread broadly to other swine and their caretakers, as well as to their families and friends.

Not only are antibiotics embedded in your meats, but they have made their way into your produce as well.

Antibiotics are being transferred, via the manure used as fertilizer, into your corn, lettuce, potatoes, and other crops.

Eating organically may not entirely alleviate this problem, since organic crops, which cannot be fertilized with synthetic fertilizers, are the ones most often fertilized with manure.

As it stands, manure that contains antibiotics is still allowed under the organic label. So it all depends on where the organic farmer gets his manure from. Some organic crop farmers may be getting their manure from organic cattle farms, but there’s no guarantee that’s taking place.

The only way to find out is to ask the farmer first-hand. Taking all of these factors into consideration, is it any wonder that the ratio of good-bacteria-to-bad is upside down in most people in our society?

Government Agencies Finally Taking a Stand — Sort of …

The rise of antibiotic-resistance in livestock is so alarming that government officials have finally admitted you can become infected when you eat or simply handle infected meat. In a remarkable move by the current administration, the FDA is proposing to phase out antibiotics used to promote animals’ growth.

They also warn that the microbes can contaminate kitchen counters, utensils and other food.

Even the USDA, which usually defends agribusiness interests, proclaimed at a congressional hearing that there is indeed a link between antibiotic use in animals and drug resistance in humans.

But the FDA hasn’t gone far enough.

The FDA has “recommended” that producers limit use of these drugs to medically necessary instances, under the guidance of a veterinarian, but they haven’t issued stricter regulations.

Do you really want to rely on “the honor system” with regard to how industry grows your food?

Do you really think industrial lobbyists are going to take the high road here?

Unlikely!

We need to implement measures to ensure antibiotics are used responsibly — and that needs to go beyond mere suggestion. An overhaul of regulation is in order.

This sort of revamping is not unprecedented — Denmark did it in1998.

The Danish Experiment: A Success Story about Antibiotic-Free Farming

Denmark took the bull by the horns in a bold maneuver that 17,000 Danish farmers proudly call the “Danish Experiment.”

In 1998, after European studies showed a link between antibiotic-fed livestock and antibiotic-resistant infections in humans, Denmark launched a ban on the use of routine antibiotics in farming. Antibiotics were reserved for animals that were actually sick.

Since the ban, the Danish pork industry has grown by 43 percent, making them one of the top pork exporters in the world.

The rest of Europe followed suit in 2006.

But, not so with the American Pork Industry, which was spooked by the potential increased cost of raising a pig. They calculated that it would cost $5 more for every 100 pounds of pork brought to market without the use of antibiotics, and this $5 was not worth it to Big Porky.

No, $5 was too much to invest for improved public health, safer foods, and fewer drug resistant infections in people.

And it isn’t just the American Pork Industry that lists your health last on its list of priorities.

FDA Picks on Cherries While Drug Manufacturers Get Away With Murder

Since 2009, there have been FOUR bills introduced that would end or severely limit your access to food supplements!

So, at the same time as Big Pharma is resisting the movement to rid the livestock industry of the inappropriate use of antibiotic drugs, some members of Congress are trying to restrict your access to the things that will actually protect your health—vitamins, minerals, herbs, and other natural agents.

This is complete nonsense since food supplements used appropriately are not causing deaths, whereas more than 100,000 people are killed every year by pharmaceutical drugs taken legally and correctly prescribed.

In fact, pharmaceutical drugs are the fourth leading cause of death in the U.S., according to the Journal of the American Medical Association (April 15, 1998). NSAIDS alone cause more than 16,000 deaths each year, yet the FDA continues to protect NSAID manufacturers and even allows ads on television offering free samples for the taking.

Instead of the FDA hauling NSAID-makers out to the woodshed, they are spending their time threatening cherry growers for mentioning peer-reviewed studies about how cherries are far better than NSAIDS in controlling pain and inflammation.

How many people do you know who’ve been harmed or killed by cherries?

This issue is nicely summarized by the Dr. Rath Health Foundation:

“The survival of the pharmaceutical industry is dependent on the elimination by any means of effective natural health therapies. These natural and non-patentable therapies have become the treatment of choice for millions of people, despite the combined economic, political and media opposition of the world’s largest investment industry.”

I wholeheartedly agree.

What You Can Do

Of the four pieces of legislation mentioned above, only the “Food Safety Bill” remains an immediate threat.

The other three bills were defeated BY YOU!

Here are two specific actions you can take to light a fire under government officials on these issues:

1. Food Democracy Now! has created a petition against the overuse of antibiotics in livestock production. If you care about this issue, I suggest you use this petition to make your voice heard. In the same way numerous prior bills have been shot out of the water as a direct result of public outcry, your action can put the kibosh on this one as well.

   Tell the FDA and the White House to stand up for human health by changing their policies about the reckless use of antibiotics in animal feed.

2. The Alliance for Natural Health USA has put together a letter addressed to Congress in an effort to educate them that “supplements should not be regulated like drugs, and that the regulations already in place are completely sufficient.” All that is required of you is to fill out your contact information and click “send.”

For the purpose of supporting your own health, you might want to consider adding a high quality probiotic to your dietary regimen. There are a number of good ones on the market. I suggest you ask your local health food store for a recommendation. Antibiotics to Avoid Like the Plague Due to FDA’s Oversight Failure

Excerpt from an open letter to Congressman Holt from Jay S. Cohen, M.D. about severe, disabling reactions linked to Cipro, Levaquin, and other fluoroquinolone antibiotics:

Dear Congressman Holt,

Thank you for taking the time to speak with people concerned about, or injured from, reactions associated with fluoroquinolone antibiotics (e.g. Levaquin, Cipro, Floxin, Tequin). I am the author of a study about severe, long-term fluoroquinolone reactions published in the December 2001 issue of the Annals of Pharmacotherapy.

These severe reactions are occurring in patients who are usually healthy, active, and young. Most often, the antibiotics are prescribed for mild infections such as sinusitis, urinary or prostate infections. Most reactions occur very quickly, sometimes with just a few doses of the fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Reactions are acute, severe, frightening, and often disabling.

Since the publication of my article with its 45 cases two and a half years ago, I have received e-mails from more than 100 people seeking help for their reactions. In most cases, their doctors have dismissed their complaints or outright denied that the reactions could occur with fluoroquinolones.

Yet extensive medical workups do not find any other cause. Worse, there are no known effective treatments. Thus, these people suffer pain and disability for weeks, months, and years.

I hope you will look seriously at this problem and respond accordingly. These people need your help. This is a largely preventable problem.
